Book on Pro-Nazi US Elite Censored; Indie Publishers Blast Bush, Throw Party at Book Expo America, May 19

Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 19, 2006

Glen Yeadon is a scientist with an unusual hobby. For going on ten years he has collected data on one of America’s darkest taboos — the elite’s enduring support for fascism — and posted it bit by appalling bit on the Web as an online book, “The Nazi Hydra in America.”

Yeadon’s findings overturn the cherished tableau of America, the champion of democracy, defending the globe from totalitarian hordes. In relentless detail, he traces the intimate involvement of US financiers with world fascism from the 1920s to the present — how they created Hitler and his war machine, attempted a putsch against FDR, and recouped Nazi assets to lay the foundation of today’s NSA and CIA. His conclusion: the Nazis won the war — they were on both sides!

The Bush dynasty has played a key role in the Amerinazi scheme for at least three generations, Yeadon says. Most notorious was our appointed president’s grandfather Prescott Bush, AKA “Hitler’s banker,” as first revealed by Webster Tarpley and Anton Chaitkin in their “Unauthorized Biography” of George Bush Sr.

Yeadon says his web traffic to his online “Nazi Hydra in America” was chopped by 75%. He attributes the drop to the Bush regime’s response to this unwelcome attention and the subsequent blocking by the leading search engines. On April 7th, Yeadon noticed traffic to his website suddenly fell sharply by 75% — and remained there. It was four weeks before he realized the cause: excluded from search results on Google, AOL and Netscape.

Not even typing in the name of his book, “Nazi Hydra,” with his domain name, spiritone, would bring up his site. See http://www.waronfreedom.org/press/GlenVsGugl.html.

Yeadon responded with a broadside against Google on indymedia — which the Google bot faithfully indexed as a search result, e.g. http://sf.indymedia.org/news/2006/05/1727591.php. His publisher then scheduled him to appear on the Alex Jones’ infowars talk show, but soon his website was Google-accessible again. He will be on www.infowars.com Wed., May 24 at 1 p.m. CDT and on Utah talk show KTTK on Thursday May 25th from 7:00 – 8:30 MST, www.k-talk.com.

Yeadon’s publisher Progressive Press has struggled for a year now with the distribution of its hottest and most provocative title. “9/11 Synthetic Terror” usually ranks on Amazon in the top 80 political books, and the top 1,800 of all books in print, yet book chains Barnes & Noble and Borders will not carry it.

The incidents prompted publisher John Leonard to write:

“As more of us become economically dependent on web traffic, it becomes clear that we need a Bill of Rights for freedom of access on the Web. Corporations can’t create monopolies and then say, ‘We are private persons and we have the right to deny service to whom we like, with the party politics we like.’

“The same applies to monopolistic book chains. The 14th amendment needs to be extended,” Leonard continued. “It prohibits discrimination on racial or religious grounds, but doesn’t protect political dissent. There is a body of law prohibiting discrimination in employment, but no protection for self-employed people like authors and entrepreneurs. I tried searching for such ‘fair-chance’ laws on the web. All I found was that the constitutions of African nations often prohibit discrimination on grounds of political beliefs. It’s time for us to try and catch up with Africa.”

Currently, the book trade takes pride in being a bastion of First Amendment rights. While that seems to be true relative to the miasma of TV and newsprint, Leonard says, he believes he can come up with statistical proof of political bias in corporate book purchasing. He also wants to further develop the ideas of expanded individual vs. corporate rights to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and equal opportunity, in a statement at www.waronfreedom.org/press/freedom.html.

*** Beltway Book Bop: Independent Publishers Speak Out Against Bush ***

“Join us, for a hopping party and speak-out, with great authors, 14 microbrews on tap, and a fun live band, all on opening night of Book Expo America, in Washington, D.C.,” says Sander Hicks, maverick publisher, author, 9/11 investigator, Brooklyn coffee house restaurateur and Green Party candidate for Hillary Clinton’s Senate seat.

The live band at the Grog & Tankard, a legacy music club and trendy watering hole in chic Georgetown, will be Baltimore indie rockers The Up Set, a delightful mix of lo-fi piano, banjo and rock and roll.

The energy-charged program from 7 to 9 pm will have four speakers of Truth to Power: Sander Hicks; Webster Tarpley, author of 9/11 Synthetic Terror and host of World Crisis Radio; Jim Walsh, author of Liberty in Troubled Times; and Rebel Bookseller author Andy Laties.

Financial Freedom Academy Announces $2 Million Dollar Grand Prize for the “Chasing the American Dream” Competition

(PRWEB) February 27, 2007

Financial Freedom Academy announces $ 2 million dollar grand prize for the “Chasing the American Dream” competition.

America is known for being the land of opportunity, the place where all of your dreams can come true. But, for many Americans the “American Dream” has turned into a living nightmare. They work longer weeks, take fewer vacations, and due to circumstances they cannot control still lose ground financially.

According to researchers, bankruptcy is at all time highs. Many people spend more than they earn financing their lifestyles with credit cards or other loan type instruments. The small glimmer of hope for most people comes in the form of games of chance and luck.

The rise of popular game shows and reality like “American Idol”, “Survivor”, “Deal or No Deal”, “1 vs. 100”, or “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”, show a sign of the times of people looking for any opportunity to change their life. Unfortunately, for most people that aspire to these shows, or look for equally tough ways to make it (such as winning the lottery, the odds are just to great for them to even make it to the main event let alone win).

For the first time ever, there is a competition that almost everyone can be guaranteed a spot in.

“The Chasing the American Dream” competition is unique for several reasons. First, there are no random cuts based on judge’s opinions. Everything is based on the numbers. Next, every participant will taught exactly how to excel on every module of the competition, and allowed to ask questions.

The modules of the competition are all based on elements of financial success that everyone should know to become financially successful. A few examples of the modules are “making money in real estate,” “how to control when you pay taxes,” “making money online,” etc.

“The reason I am so excited about this competition is because everyone wins, not just the people who claim the $ 2 Million Dollar prize. But, everyone who participates is almost guaranteed to change their life financially,” says James Sherrod, coordinator. “And also it targeted at the people who need the information the most.”

The competition will take place will start April 1st. The eligibility requirements are as follows:

1. You must be a US citizen 18 years or older

2. You must abide by all guidelines of the competition

3. You cannot own real estate holdings outside of your own home

4. You cannot have a stock portfolio outside of your current retirement accounts

5. You cannot currently have a $ 100,000 a year gross income

Interested participants should join the notification list by emailing chasingtheamericandream @ gmail.com, for complete registration details, free financial information, and more.

Disclaimer: Participation in the competition is completely at the risk of the participants. There is no income guarantees other than that of grand prize of the competition. The Scarcity Principle vs the Abundance Principle

Posted: Oct 07, 2009 |Comments: 0 | Views: 443 |

By: Rita Desnoyers

The scarcity principle and the abundance principle operate side by side in our world and it’s up to us to choose which principle to live by.  In a society that prides itself on free enterprise and individual opportunity, it is unfortunate that so many lives are governed by the scarcity principle. Our culture adheres firmly to the belief that resources are limited and there is not enough to go around; so according to the scarcity principle, we live under constant competitive pressure, fighting for spots on sports teams, professional positions, social status and even the last ‘must have’ XBOX360 or PS3 available at our local electronics store.

It is this scarcity principle that drives the economy and perpetuates the fundamental cycle of supply and demand. Low supply coupled with a high demand creates a scarcity that escalates prices and makes certain items a commodity that some can afford while others cannot. In fact, many businesses will purchase huge quantities of particular products in order to create a false scarcity, and this seemingly limited supply will result in an increase of the perceived value as well as people’s insatiable desire to acquire the item. Marketing companies can successfully capitalize on this principle because they know that it surpasses the financial realm and actually controls almost every aspect of our lives. By appealing to the fear of an imminent shortage, they can create a reaction that benefits a few at the detriment of many.

Unfortunately, the scarcity principle is rooted in fear and greed that encourages selfishness and, at its most extreme, a complete disregard for the needs and wants of others. Basically, the idea dictates that if something is scarce, or may become so in the future, then we need to get it while it is available and hoard it or store it for our own use, even if saving for our rainy day forces our neighbor into a drought. The scarcity principle discourages us from sharing ideas, opportunities, and resources out of a fear that someone else’s success will translate into our loss. It is the principle that makes us afraid that someone else will have more, succeed more, or achieve more, consequently lowering our worth and value.

While the scarcity principle has been convincingly argued, obvious from the fact that so many people live according to its tenets, there are those that hold to the belief that what may sound good in theory does not actually work in practice. In fact, the scarcity principle is essentially counterproductive. Accumulating and hoarding creates even more scarcity, widening the gap between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’, limiting attainability to a very small group, and eventually making the commodity undesirable or invaluable.

In contrast, the abundance principle is built on the idea that there is more than enough to go around and the world is always creating new opportunities and fresh challenges. This principle states that there is room for everyone to benefit equally and operates on the premise that “the more you give, the more you receive.” By being generous, we will actually discover generosity; by helping others we will receive help in our time of need; and by giving out of our abundance we will never experience lack.

While acting out of fear of scarcity causes us to turn inward and focus on ourselves, the abundance principle encourages us to take only what we need and to share the rest, benefiting not only ourselves but everyone around us. By living “all for one and one for all”, everyone prospers, everyone is happy, and everyone has a purpose. If there are limited positions on a baseball team, create a new team. If the local business isn’t hiring, start your own. There is room for everyone, opportunities are limitless, and creativity abounds.

Where the scarcity principle is based on fear and greed, the abundance principle is built on faith and equality. Where the scarcity principle demands hoarding, the abundance principle promotes sharing. Where the scarcity principle regards only commodities, the abundance principle values people. From the individual level to the family environment to society as a whole, living according to the abundance principle will result in financial freedom, personal health, and successful, happy relationships.

Men’s rights activists – A noble pursuit? (men responses only please)?

First – I find it strange that a discussion forum such as this highlights Gender issues ( pertaining to the sexes) while also highlighting Women’s issues (pertaining to the female)?!, I won’t bore you with my views on this obvious gaffe, but wanted to highlight it as a point of amusement.

My post is about the philosophy of equality and in particular the effect Second-wave feminism has had. I’ve perused some of the threads here and have noticed that several men have started to vocalize their concern regarding the lack of attention being brought to the issue of men’s rights. We know Feminists by design are interested in their own rights and freedoms, the logical extrapolation from this is that they aren’t nearly as concerned with your rights as men, which by default promotes confrontation and contention amongst the sexes.

Is society big enough for both gender equality groups? Is this a kin to Right to Life vs. Free choice as far as conention and confrontation?
I apologize that the question might not be that clear, I ran out of room and didn’t have time to properly hash it together.

can you solve these statistics questions?
