Answer by FreetobeFree
It’s for everyone.
However freedom doesn’t mean:
– Coming to America illegally
– Nationalized Insurance (I refuse to say Healthcare)
– Taking away the rights of states
– Being able to kill your baby
– Going off to other countries to wreck havoc
Edit: Godless Heathen- I’m not white. So what are you trying to say?

I don’t care what religion anyone wants to practice as long as they don’t push it on me.
I DO have a problem with people coming to this country for the sole purpose of having a baby. If you don’t believe this happens then liberals are more naive that I ever believed.
Freedom for EVERYONE as long as your freedom doesn’t impose on my rights. PURE AND SIMPLE, LIVE AND LET LIVE.
The Liberal mantra “LIVE AND IF YOU AREN’T HAPPY TAKE SOMETHING AWAY FROM SOMEONE ELSE.”

Ahhh America, land of the free, well unless you’re hispanic, gay, muslim ………. You know it seems conservatives only want freedom if you’re straight white and christian.

Conservatives ——–> Freedom, USA Constitution, amendment process to change.
Liberals —-> Freedom only if you agree with liberal policies, Judicial activism, who cares what the masses think.

No Gene, freedom is for all. Conservatives want to preserve that freedom so that all U. S. citizens can enjoy. There is a responsibility though, that being to respect the laws that have been enacted by our elected officials. Freedom is not just doing whatever you want if it is illegal.

Sorry to burst your assumptions, but to address your points in order…
1. I DO love Freedom – all of our freedoms, for everyone
2. I have friends from all the major religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, American Indians) as well as Atheists and Agnostics.
3. I work for an international hotel company. I have good friends from more than 25 different nations. They enrich my life and I cherish their friendship. They all worked hard to come to America legally, with legal permission to work, and I respect their efforts too much to give a free pass to those who try to subvert our laws.
4. I defend everyone’s freedoms – not just those with whom I agree. Life would be boring if everyone agreed on everything. A civil and respectful debate about politics, religion, current events… whatever, is exhilarating.

Typical Lib, twisting the facts.
Regarding the Ground Zero Mosque – Cons believe that muslims have the right to build a mosque at ground zero, but it is in such bad taste that it borders on offensive.
Regarding the 14th amendment and anchor babies, when you have foreigners coming the US illegally ONLY to give birth, then you have an issue to deal with. When foreign countries sponsor their own citizens to travel to the US to do this, you have an issue to deal with.
But I guess you can’t understand either position.

It is for everyone.
Care to site an example where you find this is not the case?
And while you’re looking, bare in mind that the military who is fighting and dying for freedom and democracy in the middle east is composed primarily of conservatives or conservative leaning individuals while it is the liberal who has opposed this effort almost from the first day.
So, when you’re talking about freedom and who supports freedom? Keep in mind those who are dying for it and who is pretty much taking up the back seat on the issue.

The same could be said of Progressives , as they are bigots with regards to Conservatives and Religious bigots with regards to Christians ………………………

The Cons hate illegal immigrants, the black president, the Moslem Center by Ground Zero and anchor babies in the constitution–yet yell “We’re not racists!” Okay, moron haters who lie, then.

Oh My God I was just about to ask liberals the same question. Is that weird or what? I swear I get called the most disgusting nasty names whenever i disagree with a liberal. and I can’t tell you HOW MANY TIMES I have heard or read that liberals think conservatives should be silenced or thrown in jail for voicing their opinions.

Freedom is of course for everyone who lives within the guidelines set by law. If you are referring to the Mosque that is proposed to be built near ground zero, it’s not a matter of freedom, it’s a matter of ethics and tact. Very inconsiderate to those who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attack and a general slap in the face to all Americans in general.

Freedom is not an absolute value, even for democrats like myself.
Such arguments are silly.
Should we be free to kill each other?
How about steal?
How about lie about each other?
Your argument is silly. They argue against illegal aliens. People who have CHOSEN to skip any check for contagious deadly disease, felony warrants and membership in organizations that seek the overthrow of the U.S.A.
You don’t get that, do you?
Telling, that.
