Freedom Station Project – San Diego


Dear Freedom Station supporter, I am writing you today to ask your help in supporting our troops who continue to fight heroically to regain their health, and to meld back into American society. Our warriors have sacrificed themselves, and many have given the ultimate in protecting of our Freedom. They have answered their countrys call to duty and now its our turn to answer their needs. The effort is called Freedom Station USA whose purpose is to provide transitional housing and opportunity center for medically retired or injured warriors and to provide college counseling, skills training, job counseling and placement, and other necessary transitional assistance on-site. We have formed Freedom Station USA, a 501 (c) (3) to reach this goal because there really are no other organizations that currently have this as their mission. Our vision at Freedom Station is to add some peace of mind and opportunity to the recovering wounded or injured veteran while they transition to civilian life. Ive personally been involved with this effort over the last several years along with many caring Americans, who have contributed and helped these brave men and women. Along with the San Diego Council of the Navy League and the Warrior Foundation we have been able to raise over 5 million dollars for sending our heroes home for the holidays, and assisting with their needs while recuperating at the recovery centers like the Naval Medical Center, San Diego and others.
