I love how the news woman says there will be no prayer bc “one boy “claims” to be an atheist.”…claims? lol what about all the ppl “claiming” to be christian. For ppl who claim to “respect” others beliefs they sure son’t act like it. In fact they are as intolerant and ignorant about other religions and atheists as the KKK and the SS were about blacks and jews. How they cannot see this is proof of how far removed they are from reality.

funny how freedom of religion only works for christians when it is convenient for them. i have spoken to Damon and from what it seems he has very supportive siblings. at least he has that. the problem i have with this whole thing is that christians want to be able to pray in public, schools whatever. atleast some do. but i bet if say a muslim or jew or any other religious person wanted the same, all hell would break loose. its time for the double standards to end.

Also, I can guarantee you that he was not alone, he was just the only person brave enough to speak out. Many atheists hide their true beliefs because of people like you and the people in this video.

@mcalhoun2187 Most of the founders were diests- also take note…The 1796 Treaty with Tripoli states that the United States was “not in any sense founded on the Christian religion” Most people moved to America to be free, I think that you should read what you’ve written and do some studies relating to Americas history.

So it is either all or none to be ….”endorsed”…by the school….free exercise of that right is not in question. Just imagine if the majority (of the campus) were Muslim or Hindu or…Satanic, would you as a Christian have a problem with that? A Prayer led by the faculty to Molech?

I fought for this country, and I am seriously tired of people attempting to circumvent the rights of others to bend to the will of one… sorry, that is not right whatsoever, and while this video attempts to push the view that these Christians overstepped any boundary, or that they pushed a religious belief on another person, in reality it is the one person that was attempting to alter a ceremony that has gone unchanged for their own personal reasons.

@Broadsmore As for declining society, that is partially true, I for one went to the other side of Europe (Bulgaria) like many more Dutch people or Danish even because it’s scarcely populated and considerably more liveable than some areas back in Holland. Also more jobs and overal more intelligent people, they don’t take shit from anyone be it muslims or batshit-crazy christians. Oil dependency is largely ignored but we’re starting to feel it lol
