TWIC “is a biometric credential that ensures only vetted workers are eligible to enter a secure construction site, unescorted,” Ironworkers Local 361 in Ozone Park, New York, explains. “Before issuing a TWIC, TSA must conduct a security threat assessment on the TWIC applicant. An applicant who, as a result of the assessment, is determined to not pose a security threat, will be issued a TWIC card.” In other words, construction workers in New York will need permission from the TSA and DHS in order to practice their profession and earn a living. It was much the same in the former Soviet Union and authoritarian states such as China where the government determines all aspects of an individual’s life and where even the mildly rebellious are severely punished. Quite incorrect about Christians allowing the government to do what they want with their kids. The Bible doesn’t say that, and Alex alienates himself from Christians by implying that Christians are blind followers of the government.
To the contrary, respecting the government is tempered with Shedrack et al who defied government orders in the name of the Bible authority. 1 Peter 2:17 “Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”

So if nobody pays taxes, how do we generate the money to run the country? I’m totally against the excessive interest on loans – but taxes are another subject all together. Taxes are a necessary inconvenience.
I think we should go to an interest-free currency temporarily, just until we can get this debt under control. Then re-adjust the interest rates to an more realistic level. It’s an idea anyway…

I like A Jones but some of his views I don’t agree with and that should be ok. After all there isn’t anybody who agrees with somebody 100%… Unless you are a politician. Allthough my personal feelings not totally against this idea it isn’t right for me to push my beliefs on to others. If they choose to be stupid or hateful or evil or whatever it isn’t my place to force them to stop or change. Society has to evolve along it’s own path. You can’t take freedom and choice away from people to make it go the way you want even if that way is better. Society and individuals must learn for themselves even at others expense.
