Army Post Jobs for FEMA Camps, DHS Shuts Down Blog & More: Infowars Nightly News

In other news, another unsettling sign post has cropped up in the wake of the Senate’s passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as the Army has now reportedly designated a special prison guard unit for securing ‘civilian detainees.’ A similar job posting was advertised under the National Guard in 2009, which Infowars reported on at the time. Only days ago, leaked documents from inside KBR, a Halliburton subsidiary, announced the activation of FEMA camps, with calls to staff a wide array of services inside the temporary emergency facilities. To Propose Amendments

* Two-thirds of both houses of Congress vote to propose an amendment, or

* Two-thirds of the state legislatures ask Congress to call a national convention to propose amendments. (This method has never been used.)

To Ratify Amendments

* Three-fourths of the state legislatures approve it, or

* Ratifying conventions in three-fourths of the states approve it. This method has been used only once — to ratify the 21st Amendment — repealing Prohibition.

‘Atheist’ Nations Are More Peaceful

Science & Reason on Facebook: tinyurl.com “Peace Is Non-Theistic” by www.youtube.com “Vision of Humanity groups together a number of interrelated initiatives focused on global peace. It brings a strategic approach to raising the worlds attention and awareness around the importance of peacefulness to humanitys survival in the 21st century.” • www.visionofhumanity.org — Subscribe to Science & Reason • www.YouTube.com • www.YouTube.com • www.YouTube.com • www.YouTube.com — I hear time and time again the incredible statements being made by the religiously minded whom make comparisons between themselves, other religious groups and also even to the non-religious. I hear often Muslims claiming their religion to be one of peace, of knowledge of wisdom and of respect (laughs), and much of the same spewed from the pipes of the Christian, Jewish and Hindu drones. Though, its interesting to note that I have yet to see any statistical data nor any evidence to support such claims; mainly due to the fact that there is none. With this video, I seek to present factual statistical data that expresses that such claims are not only false, but like most religious speech, are blatant falsities that exist as a propaganda force. Religion now like always maintains a clear and distinct correlation with conflict, not peace! The Vision of Humanity Global Peace Index survey accounts for internal and external conflicts and the subsequent losses incurred, Including that of potential terrorist acts

Are we turning more so and more so into an authoritarian government who does not allow freedom of religion?

Question by no vanilla for me: Are we turning more so and more so into an authoritarian government who does not allow freedom of religion?
Or I should say, free expression of religion…What would make a teacher any more so influential than the president of the United State? Yet we allow the president to express his or her religious beliefs. And why shouldn’t we? Why shouldn’t all be allowed to pratice freedom of religion, why should we put restrictions on teachers?

We have plenty of freedom of Religion, but the tools will discriminate and hate you for it…. Unless you’re a Christian.

Doesn’t sound too much like religious freedom to me, but that is what they call it.

An EMP Attack could be more damaging than an Nuke Bomb

Ex-speaker latest official to raise alarm on threat of nuclear EMP attack by Tehran WASHINGTON The threat posed to the national security of the United States by Iran was likened only to the one posed by Nazi Germany in the 1930s, by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who suggested Tehran could be planning for a pre-emptive nuclear electromagnetic pulse attack on America that would turn a third or more of the country “back to a 19th century level of development.” Gingrich made the stunning statements, which echo warning of other congressional leaders and national security experts, in testimony before a subcommittee of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee last week. He said the “extraordinary challenge that the current regime in Iran poses to the safety of the United States” requires “extraordinary measures to meet it.” “Not since the failure of the League of Nations in the 1930s to confront the aggression of the dictatorships in Japan, Italy and Germany have we seen the willful avoidance of reality which is now underway with regard to Iran,” said Gingrich. “There are lessons to be learned from the 1930s and those lessons apply directly to the current government of Iran.” Gingrich pointed with alarm at a report first published in G2 Bulletin that Iran had tested the firing of ballistic missiles from a merchant ship in which warheads were detonated in midair over the Caspian Sea rather than at a land or sea target. I would examine this quote from Benjamin Franklin

‘Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

he was a pretty smart guy : )

I think you have to decide if you want your country to be Run on the basis of fear of supposed evil ? Also if civil liberties are eroded what differences will there be left between the west and the areas we are meant to be be bringing the ‘light’ of democracy to ?

For Freedom More Than a Tour – Inspiring Citizenship Projects Across the USA

Grove City, OH (PRWEB) May 28, 2006

For Freedom, a new children’s book being released in June 2006 by DreamCastle Publishing and a Book Adventure approved title, offers an inspiring glimpse of growing up in a military family through the eyes of a child. Michele Snyder, the daughter of a former Vietnam POW and the book’s author shares, “For Freedom was inspired by a family visit during the summer of 2005. Visiting a military family and staying on a Marine base offered a rare opportunity for a civilian to experience a small fraction of the military lifestyle. The visit brought about a true appreciation for the sacrifices military families, must make for their fellow Americans.”

In addition to the tour, projects have been coordinated to coincide with the visits across the USA. Letters for Our US Service Men & Women, a project collecting letters and patriotic coloring pictures from children & adults from across the US, as well as the handmade cards for the Books & Hope project, made for the children of the Gulf Coast are and important and impacting part of the tour. According to Michele Snyder, “Good citizenship is something everyone can contribute to America, despite age.”

**The release of the book will launch a national tour visiting schools, military bases and community events, in an effort to get this patriotic and relevant book into the hands of children & families, people young and old. Each of these visits will offer a book signing by Michele Snyder, with a portion of each book sold going to an educational, family or community fund, offering a great opportunity for fundraising. Financial contributions will also be made to military organizations supporting US military families and veterans.

Organizations and Businesses are encourages to participate in the “Books & Hope” project for the Children of the Gulf Coast. DreamCastle Publishing is requesting that individuals participate as well. “Books & Hope is a great way to give to the children of the community and will enable the For Freedom National Book Tour to bring something special to the families of the devastated region,” shares Michele Snyder

“For Freedom is an inspiring tribute to our military families. The children of our military should know that we, as a country, are grateful for their families’ sacrifices for our freedom and safety.” says Gena S. Miller a Library Media Specialist from Omaha, Nebraska.

Supporters for the tour are needed for the project’s success and DreamCastle Publishing would like to recognize Young Marines, Joe Riggio – Networking by Images and Major Wayne Morris for their kind support, along with many others for their guidance.

Michele Snyder has joined on with military web mag. as a monthly columnist for their online magazine. She will be discussing military family issues and lifestyles in the column, including a perceptive view on how families deal with deployment of a loved one and the life issues many military families have to deal with once they are overseas.
