While a good voter will write a letter to his elected politician, a good corporation is writing checks to the politicians. End of story. I am from Canada, and I know we don’t have this here, but does everyone who voted for a politician know who they voted on every single issue they cast a ballot for? There should a be a vote registry for every politician so we know their record. If there is one in Canada, someone please tell me so we can advertise this fact. They need to be accountable.
