  • Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were the 1st Democratic/Republicans elected as Presidents of the United States.
Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence and was responsible doubling the size of the US w/The Louisiana Purchase. And Madison…Help start and create Americas law of the land–The Constitution of The United States.
These two men in my opinion were responsible for the greatness that became America.

  • what song is this

  • @54nomore No worries man

  • @madog mgd You are correct! And I will not dispute it. For Leonardo De Vinci was Europe’s 1st true Renaissance man. And in my humble opinion I should of said Jefferson was Americas 1st true Renaissance man. Peace!

  • @54nomore the first renaissance man was leonardo da vinci

  • Thomas Jefferson is to me the greatest Founding Father and President of the United States we ever had. He was in a sense the founder of both political parties. He called his party the Democratic Republican and became our 3rd President He was an inventor, a botanist, a linguist, spoke and wrote over 7 languages. He was an architect, a writer, a surveyor, an equestrian, and help start the Congressional Library by giving it his own books. He was the 1st renaissance man. He was brilliant!

  • Reagan was no Jefferson.

  • @ckairnes68 As anti-globalists of today, they too were same. Hamilton, Adams et al Federalists were agents of Britain, looking to federate the states as the first experiment toward globalism., The second experiment, the eu. Though, the eu countries never agreed to fiscally be as one USof EU. We federated and threw out the Brits. Now we learn the truth, that they never left. Knowing what we know today, Jefferson and Madison were right to be anti-federalists.

  • Love it love it love it!!!!!

  • Seriously excellent!!!

  • @IcyJ314; Did you do know that Jefferson and Madison were anti-Federalists?

  • 54 members of Congress disliked this.

  • Showing the founders to the progressives/fascists is like showing a cross to a vampire.

  • HMMM “a decade of deficits? That certainly puts the majority of deficit spending on conservatives. Of course their spending was for no reason other then Wall Street profits with their unfunded entitlement Medicare Prescript Part D corporate welfare for big pharma, unfunded wars based on lies, unfunded tax cuts for those who need them least and lets not forget about their biggest miss step of all the Financial Crisis brought on by what Greenspan called “failed conservative ideology”

Every year at this time I post this on my FB. I so love this song and video.

  • Terrible rightwing moronic video.

  • @whcantrell3 You mean like everybody did when they voted Obama in? There’s videos on youtube to prove that MANY voted him in because of his race. Many more voted him in because they wanted to show they weren’t racist. Many didn’t even know what he stood for or cared to know either.

  • Love this video but Reagan was no constitutionalist, in fact he would be considered to the far left of Jefferson!

  • I love this…maybe I’m biased though…I love Simon & Garfunkel AND I’m a TEA Partier 😉 Thanks for sharing!

  • The Gipper has left and gone away. He sure has.

@whcantrell3 no i understand ive been following poltics for a while. im sick and tired of the democrat left wing fanatics screwing America out of its money. all this is a deficite spending. i want to know that when i become a firefighter/paramedic that i have social security and a nice nest egg to use. im tired of obama whitewashing his polotics so he may “look nice infront the cameras”. everyone thought bush was a dick…waint and see how obama fairs up in a few years. (spelling sorry)

  • @flykcrusader10xxx Harsh words for a 16 year-old, Hoping you took the time to know WHY you want him not, and you’re not just jumping on a bandwagon like so many others in this country do.

  • @flykcrusader10xxx Ron Paul

  • @IcyJ314 be careful with your labels! The 3 heavyweights Patrick Henry (live free or die), Samuel Adams (1773 tea party) , and George Mason (I ask, sir, what is the militia?) were all anti-federalists.
