It’s the law of the land. It has rules in it that directly apply to the President.

  • Even the president is not above law.

  • The president must have senate consent when appointing federal judges, ambassadors and cabinet secretaries.
    He must have two-thirds senate consent when making treaties
    Two-thirds of Congress can override a presidential veto
    He can be removed from office by the House of Representatives and two-thirds of the Senate
    The 22nd Amendment prevents the president from serving indefinitely.
