My state California, is much easier. It took a majority vote of the voters last week. The US Constitution requires a 2/3 vote of congress to send an amendment to the states and approval by 3.4 of them before it is ratified.

  • State Constitutions are NOT EASY to Amend! Usually you have you start with a petition stating what you want changed; then you have to get a certain number of people to sign it( NOT EASY)! Then the people who signed it have to be verified! After that it will go the State! They will look it over and then to lawyers and a Judge who will probably find something wrong with it! Then it will get Kicked Back! You start all over again with a corrected copy to people for Signatures! Alot of them will say they signed it before! Easy? No Not ESY!
