The founders of our country made the U.S. Constitution what is called a “living document,” meaning it can expand/change with the times but must always uphold the principles quoted therein.

It’s worked for over 200 years.

  • The Constitution was written to provide some basic guidelines for the people of the new Republic of America to live and rule by so as to provide a more civil and equitable society. It should not be interpreted in light of new ideas or anything else. If it fails to guide our government, changes can be made in the form of amendments. However, amendments should only be made with full support of a majority of Americans. Our representatives in Washington have obviously lost contact with what is good for America, and what the people want and expect from our leaders. The government is running on a progressive agenda which has been tried around the world many times, and it always fails. This country will fail too if we keep wandering from the proven success of adherence to the constitution principles.
