Question by Me: What is in the American constitution about equal rights?
I was wondering if the Constitution directly mentions everyone being equal, I thought that it would have done but I’ve done a few google searches and I have found nothing of use.
In the Brown V Board of education (although it was obviously wrong) which part of the Constitution did it break? As separate schools were later declared ‘unconstitutional’ .

The pro Constitution people here stop admiring it around the
14th Amendment.
They don’t like the Civil Rights Act, or any of the Amendments after 10.

Saying we have equal rights is different than saying we all have the right to be equal. Essentially our “rights” are all rights not to be screwed with by the government. We all have an equal right to not have the government take our guns. We all have an equal right to not have the government censor our speech.
Since the New Deal, our government has started to think more in terms of equity rather than justice. Our graduated income tax, earned income credit, social security, welfare, etc. serve to try to lift up our most vulnerable populations and make them more equal. However, these are parts of the US Code implemented by Congress, and not part of the Constitution.
