Looking for Answers in Life’s Spiritual Quest?

Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) March 18, 2005

Spirituality Without God is about self-enquiry, self-knowledge and self-transcendence. It celebrates the Transcendent in humanity. It teaches self-reliance, freedom from traditions, religion and dogma. In essence it points the way to a Wholeness of Life that lies beyond self-contraction, self-absorption, emotional reactivity and mental conditioning. Möller de la Rouvière’s first book is completely original, brilliantly argued and stands apart from other books about spirituality in its intelligent, yet compassionate exploration of a truly Humanistic Spirituality.

Those who seek spiritual enlightenment and sustainable emotional equanimity will find here clear guidelines to the complete fulfillment of their own human potential. This deeply penetrating enquiry into the human condition, and the inherent freedom, happiness and relational integrity towards which this book points, offer a radical departure from traditional religious and spiritual conventions. Möller’s unique concept of Spiritual Humanism brings the spiritual quest back into the human realm. It seeks for answers, and find resolution of these, entirely from within the human condition.

Through insightful enquiry Möller guides the reader to the profound simplicity, order and emotional stability which are inherent in their being. As the book unfolds, it becomes clear that Spiritual Humanism stands free from the need of any presumed ‘Higher Power’ to facilitate the complete fulfillment and integrity of human life. Anyone who has ever felt disenfranchised by organized religion and popular beliefs will find in this book a refreshingly new and stimulating argument for human transcendent living. This radical Humanistic approach to spirituality is one that will fill the gap for many readers. SpiritualityWithout God is a masterpiece of spiritual enquiry that is timeless in its presentation and will provide answers to those unasked questions that reside in the depth of the human spirit.

Looking forward for constitutional amendment bill

The Centre finally makes it clear that it is not possible to bring Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) under the scope of the proposed Goods and Services Tax (GST), as per the model suggested by the states.

The Oil Industry came out with a demand to include crude oil and its products, and natural gas in the upcoming GST regime. We often used to see different fuel prices from states to states and the main reason for this is the different tax rates structure followed by the states according to their budgetary targets.

Earlier our Finance Ministry proposed to keep crude oil, petrol, diesel, ATF and natural gas permanently outside GST through a Constitutional Amendment. There are many states in India who heavily depends on collections from levies on oil products to make up for their budgetary targets. So this has been proposed basically to protect the finances of states. However, recently a letter has been written by the Petrofed, a body representing both public and private sector companies like Indian Oil Corp, seeking inclusion of crude oil, petrol, diesel, aviation turbine fuel (ATF) and natural gas in the Goods and Services Tax .

]]>

According to Petrofed, the inclusion of petroleum products under GST will eliminate twisted wires of taxes paid by suppliers as well as by the industry at different stages in the petroleum value chain. Further, it will also enable the States and the Centre to capture full revenue potential up to sale to final consumers.

The 13th Finance Commission has also recommended that petrol, diesel, ATF, crude oil and natural gas should form part of GST legislation. Even it has also recommended that, if necessary, an additional tax can also be levied on these commodities in addition to the GST to look after the financial concerns of the states. But our Finance Ministry wants to keep them permanently out of the GST through Constitutional Amendment.

It is well known fact that a lot of things is required to be done for the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax but one thing is certain here that the Government is looking forward to continue the GST process as well as at the same time will try to develop the Consensus between the Centre and the State Governments.

Northwood Family Office CEO Outlines Why Canada is a Premier Destination for Wealthy Families Looking to Protect and Build Family Wealth

(PRWEB) October 20, 2010

Wealthy global families are becoming increasingly aware of their need for a well thought-out citizenship and residency strategy to protect their wealth and to safeguard their freedom of movement. Those who have begun to examine this complex subject will have found the problem is not a lack of options. Rather, it is identifying the right ones and, probably more importantly, avoiding the wrong ones.

Canada is one of the world’s best kept secrets. Canada provides a safe and surprisingly tax-efficient alternative to many of the more well-known citizenships that the wealthy can consider acquiring. It hasn’t always shown up on the list of potential countries for wealthy families looking for additional citizenships or residences. The reason is its (partly unfair) reputation as a high-tax and chilly-weather destination as well as the perception that better alternatives might be available.

But things have changed and so have the perceptions. Canada is now recognized as a much more attractive destination for wealthy families, particularly from a tax efficiency and ease of immigration perspective. At the same time, the relative attractiveness of other destinations (such as the US, UK, Switzerland, and Caribbean tax havens) has waned, for well-publicised reasons.

Mr. McCullough explains: “For the first time in many years, a confluence of factors is causing many wealthy families to add Canada to the list of countries they are evaluating as part of their citizenship and residency strategy. Canada rates at or near the top of virtually all the global ‘livability’ studies, based on the attractive culture, environment, education, healthcare and stable democratic government. A Canadian passport is at or near the top of the world passport pyramid as measured by flexibility and mobility (when it is needed most). And finally, Canada offers a surprisingly-attractive tax regime for high net worth immigrants, while housing a world-class professional services and financial infrastructure.”
