World Religion

Ancient Hawaiian Culture and Belief Systems

The Hawaiian Islands have not been around long in comparison with the huge 4.5 billion year history of the earth. The first Hawaiian Island to emerge in fact was the island of Kauai, around six million years ago.

The ancient Hawaiians were Polynesians and had a polytheistic religion. Over a period of time the Hawaiians, like the other Polynesians, developed a rather intricate system of Gods and Goddesses of various rank and form.

This web of deities consisted of main Gods and Goddesses, demi-Gods and Goddesses and other various Gods and Goddesses.

They had Six Gods and Two Goddesses. Inclusive of the Gods was the Chief god, Keawe. He was believed to be the original spirit that was present at the birth of the world. Keawe was believed to be the ancestor of all the Gods and Goddesses. The other seven gods that make up the Sacred Eight are Kane (Lord of the West), Nâwâhine (Holy Mother of Heaven or The Moon Goddess), Lono (God of the East and Fertility), Kanaloa (God of the South Pacific Occean), Kû (The God of the North and War), Goddess Papa and God Wâkea (The rulers of Nature).

I find this religion rather fitting and I also think it has quite a few similarities with ancient Egypt’s take on the birth of the world except they just had different names for their Gods and suchlike. I’ve found that with quite a number of ancient religions, ones that would have had no contact with each other and yet they had very similar Earth History and Gods and Goddesses.

Scientology

Scientology was created by an American Author and Humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard. He worked on his life long passion of life and Human Nature to create a new way of life and a higher civilisation.
Scientologists believe that Humans are generally Good, and not evil. The religion holds that Human experiences may cause people to do evil deeds but it is not their basic Nature to be evil. In anyone. They believe, unlike the majority of Religions, that Humans can and should solve their own problems instead of looking to their religion to do so. They do this by increasing knowledge and the ability of the individual so they can improve their own lives.
Mr. Hubbard decided to make a new name for the being or spirit of the individual because there had been so many concepts over the millennia. He decided on the term “thetan” from the Greek letter theta, which was the traditional symbol for thought and life.
Scientologists believe in “Eight Dynamics of Existence”. These are: The Urge to Survive as oneself, The Urge to Survive through Family, Sex and the rearing of Children, The Urge to Survive in groups, The Urge to Survive as Mankind or Humanity as a whole and the final four dynamics are to Survive through other life forms such as Animals, Plants, the Physical Universe, the Spiritual Universe and as Infinity or a Supreme Being respectively.
This more Modern Religion has become very popular rather quickly I have to say. Particularly with such celebrities as Tom Cruise etc. I found it more philosophical than religious to be honest. Not that I’m downing it because I think they have some really intriguing philosophies on life and Humanity.

Islam

The foundation of Islamic belief is found in their doctrine The Qur’an. They believe that these scriptures are infallible and without error. The Qur’an is made up of 114 Surahs (chapters); they are arranged from the longest to the shortest. Muslims believe that the Qur’an is the word of God, given to them by Muhammad. They hold that Muhammad was the last and the most perfect of Allah’s (God) messengers.
In addition to the Qur’an, there are also other documents that are referred to by Muslims. These are the Hadith (a compilation of Muhammad’s sayings), The Torat (book of Moses), Suhuf (books of the prophets), Zabur (psalms of Davis) and the Injil (gospel of Jesus). However, they are believed to have been corrupted over the years, unlike the Qur’an.
Islam is based on the Five Articles of Faith and The Five Pillars of Faith.
The Five Articles are the central Doctrines of Islam. All Muslims are expected to believe in them. The first Article of Faith is Allah: The one and only true God and Allah alone is the only creator of the Universe. Secondly, is the Angels: They believe that Angels exist and interact with Human lives. Each have different purposes or messages to bring to the Earth. Each Man or Woman has two Angels the record their actions; one records their good deeds the other records the bad ones. The Third Article is the Scriptures: The only holy book uncorrupted is the Qur’an. Fourthly, is the Prophets: God has spoken through numerous prophets through time. The six greatest are: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and the greatest of all is Muhammad.
The Five Pillars are the duties that each Muslim must perform. The Pillars are as follows: Creed (to become Muslim one must state, “there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah” publicly. Next is Prayer (Muslims must pray five times daily, upon rising, at noon, in mid-afternoon, after sunset and before going to sleep in the direction of Mecca), the call for Prayer is sounded by the muezzin (the Muslim Carrier). Thirdly is Almsgiving (Muslims are legally required to give one fortieth of the income to the needy. Fasting is the fourth Pillar of Islam (during the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from sun up until sun down) and the final Pillar is Pilgrimage (each Muslim that is fit and able is expected to make the journey to Mecca at least once in their life time, they believe that this essential in gaining salvation).

Shamanism

Shamanism dates back as early as the beginning of the New World and Originated in Siberia and Central Asia. Shamanism is traditionally not an organised group with a charismatic leader as such. It is an individualistic religion and can be found in many different cultural settings. Shamanism has maintained it’s shape, if you will, throughout time in spite of the cultural changes. The ancestry of the Shamans is the Shamans themselves. There were Shamans before there were Gods. This is backed up by archaeology. It shows masked Shamans or Sorcerers dancing in Caves.

The Core beliefs of Shaman are: Shamanism is the intentional effort of the participant to communicate and develop relationships with spiritual beings. Secondly, that Shamanism is more of an individualistic approach to the perception of the intertwined relatedness of life, plants, animals, Gods and other deities rather than a traditional religion. Thirdly, Shamans traditionally fulfil the role of the Priest, Magician, Metaphysician or the Healer. This is dependant on the Shaman’s personal experience. The Knowledge of the other realms allows the Shaman to serve as connection point between the physical world and the spiritual world. Moreover, the relationship created with an interaction with a spirit is a mutual respectful insight for both the Spiritual and the physical participant. Although the individual’s journey is directed at self-healing and the development one’s self, the main objective is not completely about self serving. It is more to develop an interconnectedness with all life via regular practice. Through this regular practice they believe that one would be healed and would then in turn be able to heal others and help them develop and grow. Shamans are generally believed to be Healers, Herbalists, Spiritual Advisers and Dream Interpreters.

I really enjoyed researching the Shamans because of their distinct connection with other realms throughout existence and there exceedingly interesting and ancient history.

Wicca

Last but not least is the belief system Wicca or also known as The Craft. Various forms of Wicca have existed through time in itself. In fact, Wicca Predates any of the five main religions Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Sikh and Hinduism. There have been many branches of Wicca over the years such as, Gardnerian Wicca, Alexandrian Wicca, Dianic Wicca, Celtic Wicca (church of Wicca) and Georgian Wicca.

Wicca is based upon 13 Principles, The Wiccan Rede and The Law of Three.

The 13 Principles are: Wiccans practice rites (rituals) to attune themselves with the natural rhythm of life forces marked by the phases of the moon and the seasonal Quarters and Cross Quarter. They recognise that their intelligence them a unique responsibility towards the Environment. They seek to live in Harmony with nature, in ecological balance offering fulfilment to life and consciousness within an evolutionary concept. Thirdly, they acknowledge a depth of power far greater than that apparent to the average person. They see this knowledge and power as attainable to all but most do not tune in enough to learn. They believe in the polarity of the Creative Power. That is masculine and feminine and that this same Creative Power lies in everyone; and functions through the interaction of Men and Women. Wiccans value neither Male nor Female above the other, knowing that each is essential and is supportive to the other. Wiccans value sex as pleasure, the embodiment of life and as one of the sources of energies used in magical practice and worship to connect with the divine. They recognise both outer worlds (physical worlds) and inner worlds (spiritual Worlds). Wiccan do not have any authoritarian hierarchy, but they do respect those who teach, share their knowledge and wisdom and and acknowledge those who have given themselves in leadership. Wiccans see religion, magic and wisdom as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it. They also believe that calling ones self a witch does not make a witch– but neither does hereditary itself, nor the collecting of titles, degrees and initiations. A witch seeks to control the forces within themselves that make life possible in order to live wisely and well without harm to others and in harmony with Nature. Furthermore, they believe in the affirmation and fulfilment of life. They also hold no animosity towards any other religions except that they disagree with “the only way” approach because they believe in the freedom to choose your own life path, that there is always more than one option available in religion and that we should not repress others beliefs. What’s more, they as witches do not feel threatened by debates of the history of The Craft, it’s origins of various terms or the legitimacy of various aspects of their traditions because they are only concerned by their present and their future. As well as the above, they do not accept the concept of absolute evil, nor do they worship any entity known as “Satan” or “The Devil”. They do not seek power through the suffering of others, nor do they accept that personal benefit can be derived only by denial to another. And Finally, the 13th Principle is that they believe that they should seek within Nature that which is contributory to our health and well-being.

The Wiccan Rede and The Law of Three is the basic foundation of Wicca. The Wiccan Rede is summed up in eight words: “An Ye Harm None, Do As Ye Will”. This means that as long as you are causing harm to none, including yourself, then use your magic as feels right and most natural to you. The Law of Three is something similar to Karma if you like. It means that what ever you send out good or bad it will come back to you threefold. This is why they believe it is better to act with love and kindness rather than with hate and spitefulness .

I do believe that any faith is better than none, even if it is nameless, as long as you have something good to believe in. That’s what keeps the majority of Humans going in my opinion.

In conclusion, I find all of the above to hold truths and they are all very good ways of life, but it is up to the individual to choose which is most fitting for them if any.

I hope you enjoyed the Article and I hope that you took something from it. Thank you for taking the time to read it.

The State of Security in America

Posted: Aug 15, 2007 |Comments: 0 | Views: 109 |

By: Bryan W. Daugherty

Current polling suggests that Americans remain unscathed from fears of imminent and future terror attacks on U.S. soil. Since November 2001, the Gallup Poll has questioned Americans about their thoughts regarding terrorism occurring within the United States. At any given time, only about 5 – 14 % of Americans polled have said that they are Very worried that they or someone in their family would become a victim of terrorism. Around 55% answered that they were either not to worried, or not worried at all. When asked if they felt that there would be further acts of terrorism in the United States the majority responded that it wasn’t too likely or not likely at all. When polled regarding what the priorities for Congress and the President were, National Security was rated seventh falling behind the environment and pollution.

In a news briefing on July 17th 2007, Homeland Security Advisor Frances Townsend expresses that Americans should feel safer due to “Our greatly increased worldwide counterterrorism efforts since September the 11th.” She further states that it is because of this effort that “we have constrained the ability of Al Qaida to attack the U.S. again and have led terrorist groups to view the homeland as a harder target to strike than it was on 9/11.” However, Townsend also explained that “Al Qaida will continue to attempt visually dramatic mass casualty attacks in the homeland. And they will continue to acquire and employ chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials and will not hesitate to use them if they develop sufficient capability.” These statements were based upon the newly released national intelligence estimate of the terrorist threat to the United States homeland. The first ever of its kind, this estimate is “intended to provide a strategic understanding of the terrorist threat to the homeland over the next three years and to give the intelligence communities baseline judgments in order to help policy-makers develop and prioritize government actions.” But do Americans trust the intelligence gathered by the various agencies of the federal government to be credible?

For many years some have felt that the Bush administration have used terror threats as a way to manipulate the media by creating a distraction from negative press. Other claims have included that Bush has used the threat of Domestic terrorist attacks as a means to demonstrate our need to continue the war in Iraq and engage the enemy abroad. However, Senator Barack Obama expressed today that the national intelligence estimate demonstrates “a chilling reminder of what we have feared all along. After almost six years, awesome sacrifices by our brave men and women in uniform, and hundreds of billions of dollars spent, we are no safer than we were on 9/11.” Supporting that notion Senator Russ Feingold said that ““The NIE confirms that al-Qaida is the most serious threat to the United States, and that key elements of that threat have been regenerated or even enhanced. … The administration’s policies in Iraq have also allowed the emergence of an al-Qaida affiliate that didn’t exist before the war.” Both parties recognize the report’s serious threats of plans by al-Qaeda and other terrorist networks – which including homegrown terrorists, to inflict mass casualties through new attacks on the United States. Frances Townsend reiterated this feeling in her press briefing saying “We are facing a persistent terrorist enemy led by Al Qaida that remains driven and intent on attacking the homeland and that continues to adapt and improve its capabilities… There should be no question in anybody’s mind: Despite our successes, this is an enemy that remains determined. And it remains determined to try and understand if there are vulnerabilities that they may exploit. It requires us to be equally adaptive at capturing or killing them.” Although Townsend adds that there has been no “credible information pointing to a specific imminent attack”, what serious security threats do we face as a Nation?

According Paul Williams, seasoned investigative reporter and former FBI consultant, al-Qaida is not content with detonating just one nuclear devise inside the United States but multiple detonations simultaneously in seven cities. He reveals in his recently released book “The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World”, that New York, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Miami, Boston, Houston, and Los Angeles are all targets for what he calls is an inevitable “American Hiroshima”. According to Williams, former CIA Director George Tenet informed President Bush one month after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that at least two suitcase nukes had reached al-Qaida operatives in the U.S. “Each suitcase weighed between 50 and 80 kilograms (approximately 110 to 176 pounds) and contained enough fissionable plutonium and uranium to produce an explosive yield in excess of two kilotons,” wrote Williams. “One suitcase bore the serial number 9999 and the Russian manufacturing date of 1988. The design of the weapons, Tenet told the president, is simple. The plutonium and uranium are kept in separate compartments that are linked to a triggering mechanism that can be activated by a clock or a call from the cell phone.” He asserts that the nuclear weapons have already been smuggled into the United States over the Mexican border with help of the MS-13 street gang. Can this be true? Williams’s explosive revelations cannot be construed as just mere speculation; in fact, there are many top level government officials which have been mentioned as his sources. This list includes current FBI Director Robert Mueller who verifies Williams’ that al-Qaida is poised “to detonate a nuclear device that would kill hundreds of thousands of Americans” – and that, they seek to simultaneously detonate these devices in multiple cities. A Senior CIA official named Michael Scheuer, confessed to Williams that the CIA “”found that [bin Laden] and al-Qaida were involved in an extraordinarily sophisticated and professional efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction – in this case, nuclear weapons.” Other Revelations include:

In 1996, al-Qaida’s “paymaster” and a top lieutenant for bin Laden walked into a U.S. embassy in Africa and spilled the beans on the terror group’s activities – including that al-Qaida had purchased nuclear material in the Sudan.

The story of a Brooklyn, N.Y., mosque that was receiving “stipends” from the federal government for more than $2 million a year up until 1993 – when it was discovered that the mosque was the nerve center for the first attack on the World Trade Center.

The case of a Chicago charity that raised millions for bin Laden and even paid for one of his operatives whose sole job was to acquire nuclear weapons.

Evidence the Saudi intelligence service claims bin Laden has an arsenal of between 40 and 70 tactical nuclear weapons.

Russian sources that claim bin Laden bought 12 to 15 fully assembled nuclear weapons.

Ties between al-Qaida and the Chechen rebels who allegedly acquired nuclear suitcase devices.

Bin Laden’s claim to a Pakistani journalist two months before 9/11 that acquiring nuclear was “not difficult” – claiming they were available from Russia for between $10 million and $20 million.

Evidence bin Laden spent between $60 and $100 million to build nuclear devices with the help of scientists from Pakistan, Russia, and China.

The damage even a low yield “junk” nuclear device would do to New York – with an estimated 250,000 dead in several days.

The remarkable story of two British secret agents who penetrated al-Qaida’s camps in Afghanistan – and reported to Britain that the terror group was finishing work on radiological weapons.

The stunning admission of the head of Britain’s MI5 who confirmed that “renegade” scientists had provided al-Qaida with the knowledge they needed to build a nuclear device.

New Jersey: the strange case of a Pakistani who died of radiological poisoning soon after 9/11, a man who had apparently served as a “mule” to transport the deadly material into the U.S.

Axis of Evil: the secret alliance between al-Qaida and Iran that brings together two religious groups with one common goal: destroying the U.S.

Interestingly, Williams claims that despite Homeland Security Advisor, Frances Townsends July 17th assertion that we have captured or killed two-thirds of Al-Qaida’s leadership from 9/11, “only one member of bin Laden’s shura – or high command – has been killed.” So again I ask, can Americans trust the intelligence gathered by the various agencies of the federal government? Is there credible evidence that al-Qaida currently possess nuclear weapons within the United States?

Recently, a Virginia company was able to acquire a nuclear license granting them the permission to purchase machines containing Americium 241 and Cesium 137. Both are radioactive elements that could too easily create a non-fissible bomb that spreads radiation over an extensive area. Although this company was set up by the U.S. government to test the ability of individuals to purchase enough nuclear material to build a bomb, it demonstrates that there still remains serious safety concerns post 9/11. “Although we (Investigators from the Government Accountability Office) had no legitimate use for the machines, our investigators received, within days of obtaining a license from NRC, price quotes and terms of payment that would have allowed us to purchase numerous machines containing sealed radioactive source materials.”

This disturbing news comes after a June 2007 report in which the FBI revealed the name of Adnan Gulshair el-Shukrijumah being al-Qaida’s operational leader on a nuclear plot targeting the United States. Authorities believe that El-Shrukrijumah is “reportedly the man Usama bin Laden tapped to lead a previous plot to detonate nuclear bombs simultaneously in several U.S. cities.” However Intelligence officials claim that “although al-Qaida created a team to develop nuclear terror plots targeting American cities, the organization has to date been unable to acquire the key materials necessary to carry out such attacks.” Adnan Gulshair el-Shukrijumah is a Saudi Born al-Qaida operative who currently remains at large and quite possibly residing within the United States. The State Department is offering up to $5 million dollars for information about current location through the Rewards for Justice Program however, they have yet to receive any pertinent information. El-Shrukijumah has reportedly spent fifteen years in the United States and has a mother who currently resides in Florida. Although the FBI is not sure whether el-Shrukrijumah is working alone or if he is acting in concert with others as part of a terrorist cell, they believe that “he may play a large and leading role in the next set of terrorist attacks inside the United States.”

With all of these revelations, as well as the recently foiled terrorist attacks here and abroad; how is it that the majority of Americans remain confident that our National Security is sufficient enough to prevent another atrocity from occurring on U.S. soil? Can we currently afford to allow politicians on both sides of the isle to use the Intelligence agencies as a tool to cast blame and create fear? Has the Iraq War Issue completely taken our focus off of protecting the United States from an even larger, more horrific terrorist attack then that of 9/11? How can we continue to support our elected officials when they hold our very lives with contempt?

As a Nation we must not fail to recognize the serious and explicit threats to our homeland. We must not allow the media and politicians to hijack and streamline their rhetoric on the back of what is believed as credible intelligence. These strategic assessments should be used as they were purposely designed, which is to help policy makers develop and prioritize government actions. Furthermore, we as a Nation must quickly come to grips with regard to the overall safety of our daily lives. We must not forget that there are still many issues such as Immigration Reform and Border Patrol that are vitally important to the direct safety of our cities and villages. We must do this with constant regard to maintaining the delicate balance between civil liberties and the ability of the government to protect American Lives.

Christianity Separates Church and State

The First Amendment of the US Constitution was written and authorized with one intended meaning. Few in our country know what the lawmakers that formed the First Amendment has in mind — they only know what they have been told. Christianity is not opposed to separation, but actually supports it biblically. Gary DeMar shows where the line should be drawn for all jurisdictional powers based on the God’s Word.

Why The Church Lied ?

(Muslims who read this are reminded when a prophets name is mentioned below please repeat S.A.W, thanks)

Why The Church & Popes’s Lied !!!

By: Rassool Auckbaraullee

CHRISTIANITY IS IT POLYTHEIST OR MONOTHEIST

Christians and Cotholics alike, have you been to a Church and feel that it feels more likeyour in a Temple .. I mean Temple by what the Hindus and Buddhist have allaround the world in there place of worship. If you don’t know what I mean because you only care to recognize your place of Worship. Then it will be a big surprise for you to know that this is where all man made God’s came from. And if a Hindu whoworships his creation of Idols was togo to a Churchanywhere in the world today, He/She would have to say it not so different from there place ofWorship. So if we are God’s children, we shouldn’t think that the divine being is like gold, silver, or stone, or is an image carved by humans using their own imagination and skill.” Acts 17:29 Just listen for a second. These second command or Law from God inThe 10 Commandments states (Exodus 20) You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Hindus and Bhuddist Pray to Statues, Why do Chistians pray to Statues Too

Why is there so many Images and Statues around the Christian countries.. You know what I mean, if you been to Europe. This is the way it’s been for many centuries, they are landmarks. I mean you can’t go pass a courtyard, cemetery, garden, city hall, train station, gargoyle’s are on all four corners of office buildings. You can’t go without seeing some sort of figurine that makes you look and stare at this piece of art. That’s all it is to me Art. Or else why would they have them in museums, right. I mean there not usually of Christ (pbuh) or Mother Mary (pbuh). But people don’t seem to see the danger, of creating religious symbolic statues of the Prophets in the bible. There is no respect. An animal may urinate on it a bird could defecate on it. Don’t come and tell me God is watching over them, because he would be criticizing the 2nd commandment. like you are. And when I say you! I mean the one’s in charge. I mean all the Popes since the first one, all the Priests, Pastors, Mersinaries, and Governments who pay for it to be made and put out all over the Country.

JESUS WAS’NT WHITE – WAS THIS A WAY, TO CONTROL NON WHITE- PEOPLE

Also when did Jesus (pbuh) become European. When did he become white with blonde hair and blue eyes. How many Jews have you seen this way, because he was a Jew!!! And if you did not know Jesus was a Jew, now you know. I’ve never understood why people depicted Jesus and Mary as white, andwith blonde hair! It seems obvious to me, given what part of the world they supposedly came from, that they would have had dark skin and hair. And yet artists so often seem to ignore this totally…it doesn’t make sense to me. Christianity is often seen as a “white man’s religion” whichmany westerners have tried to shove down the throats of all and sundry who are “not like us”. You cant deny this fact, majority of Christian’s are white. So the majority of Muslims must be Arab right!WRONG. They are the minority. The majority areAsian fromIndonesia, then Pakistani’s. It’s funny that the Bible origins lie in the middle east with a bloke of questionable colour but definitely not white! Actually white people definitely fall into the category of gentiles (non-jews) – and it took a great debate to decide whether or not to invite gentiles into the church at all!

WHY DO PEOPLE PRAY TO JESUS IMAGE AND PICTURE, WHAT ABOUT GOD?

I ask again why? Why the pictuers of Jesus (pbuh) on the walls of homes and churche’s. It’s so simple its staring you in the face. What’s the difference between that and of Polytheism. YOu can’t tell me youhave never seen a Christian pray to a statue..We all know Hindu’s and Bhuddist do. So if your Christian or Catholic its different. Come on. I have seen Christians crying to statues, talking, praying so have you. Tell you what. Here’s a challenge.Take the Picture of Christ wherever it is hanging in your house and put on another wall. Any small statues put them in a drawer. See how you parents, kids, grand parents, relatives will react. It won’t be positive. Move the furniture around, paint the house you will get a positive reaction. Do you think God or Jesus (pbuh) is gone? Out of your house, well that’s how they will feel because as Obama said it best, Change is difficult, and Change We Need. If you believe in God, why the gargoyle. Why is this concept still being adopted till now. You think a spirit is scared of something that can’t move. Were all intelligent enough to know that it’s just silly.

WHY THE USED SALES MAN APPROACH, WHY NOT PROOVE THE FAITH IS TRUE

As for every era in history -countries, civilizations, the pyramids for E.g. All left there mark in History so it would last. But does the Bible or Jesus support the ideas later created by man. This is a challenge, I ask you Christians, do you really know your bible. Or do you know what you have been told and made your beliefs from listening to your pastors, priests, parents, grandparents. And because you respect them you don’t question them well were living in the age knowledge and its time to question everything. If you only know your bible because you humm, sing in church or listen to your priest, that doesn’t mean you know your Bible. You need to read it. Become a critic. What really irritated me the most is the delivery of so many Priests and Christian leaders on TV. Look into the way of the delivery of the Priest with open mind, and if it’s a sermon then what’s up with the band on the side. This isn’t a concert right? I like the choir though it’s spiritual, but when I watch these guys on TV, I can’t help to laugh. It looks like an infomercial. All the jumping around laying there hands on peoples heads to heel them; come on it’s a circus act. Is it not blasphemous to pretend you have some kind of power to heel and pretend to be talking to God in heaven and hoodwink the people to believe you have the power to heel the sick, and you actually put this on television thinking this works for those with intelect. NO.  A religion can be tested. A religion can be debated on. A religion can take criticism.  A religion needs proof that can back it up, that makes sense.

WHAT DOES THE QURAN SAY ABOUT ITS SOURCE AND DOES IT CHALLENGE THE READER.

Can we Prove Quran is From God?

Muslims have something that offers the clearest proof of all – The Holy Quran. There is no other book like it anywhere on earth. It is absolutely perfect in the Arabic language. It has no mistakes in grammar, meanings or context. The scientific evidences are well known around the entire world, even amongst non-Muslim scholars. Predictions in the Quran have come true; and its teachings are clearly for all people, all places and all times.

Surprisingly enough, the Quran itself provides us with the test of authenticity and offers challenges against itself to prove its veracity. God tells us in the Quran:

Haven’t the unbelievers considered if this was from other than Allah, they would find within it many contradictions?[Quran 4:82]

Another amazing challenge from God’s Book:

If you are in doubt about it, bring a chapter like it. [Quran 2:23] Bring ten chapters like it. [Quran 11:13]

Then finally an easier challenge:

Bring one chapter like it. [Quran 10:38] Source www.godallah.com/is_quran_from_god.php

No one has been able to produce a book like it, nor ten chapters like it, nor even one chapter like it. It was memorized by thousands of people during the lifetime of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and then this memorization was passed down from teacher to student for generation after generation, from mouth to ear and from one nation to another. Today every single Muslim has memorized some part of the Quran in the original Arabic language that it was revealed in over 1,400 years ago, even though most of them are not Arabs. There are over nine million (9,000,000) Muslims living on the earth today who have totally memorized the entire Quran, word for word, and can recite the entire Quran, in Arabic just as Muhammad (peace be upon him) did 14 centuries ago Can we Prove Quran is From God?

Muslims have something that offers the clearest proof of all – The Holy Quran. There is no other book like it anywhere on earth. It is absolutely perfect in the Arabic language. It has no mistakes in grammar, meanings or context. The scientific evidences are well known around the entire world, even amongst non-Muslim scholars. Predictions in the Quran have come true; and its teachings are clearly for all people, all places and all times.

JUST USE YOUR COMMON SENSE I DARE YOU!

Inspiration and faith is not enough. Because, if we only needed faith than Sikhs for Eg. would be able to convert people all over the world, instead of having Punjabis being the only followeres and believers of a man made religion, that only cater to there own. How many black Sikhs have you seen. Asian Sikhs, white ones anything except a Punjab. Very rare. But followers of Abrahamic religion are the Majorotiy of the Planet. Jews, Christians and Muslims. Muslims being the fastest growing in numbers of born Muslims and the fastest growing of people converting to it. Jews being the least of all Faiths in the world, and Christianity the most. I really hope your reading this with an open mind.  It’s really the time to free your mind, youre living in the time knowledge.  It is time for you to do your own research for your self, before its too late.

It’s ignorant to the intellect to say I believe its true becaue my parents said so.  Or.  I believe it because so many in the world believe it. Or. I believe it because my Priest, Pastor told me so.  Meanwhile these guys are raping little boys around the world for the past 2 thousand years and the Church or Pope have nothing to say.

Keep reading or close this and start your own path and research is all I ask. Keep going if you will but I have more proof and questions, but this also gets harder for you if you can’t read with a open mnd.

JESUS JESUS JESUS, WHAT ABOUT GOD?

Another question I have is, and I will have more. Why so much emphasis about Jesus. What about God the one who created him.I recall in (Matthew 22:37) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. But yet you continue so much about Jesus (pbuh). What about the one great God who created him, you read above what Jesus (pbuh) said. How come no credit, respect, more prayers for the one True God. Well if your going to tell me, well Rassool Jesus is God, then my question to you is provide with a single passage that is scriptural where Jesus (pbuh) said with his own words, I am God worship me, because if he is God, he knows how to say it.

WHO CREATED CHRISTIANITY, IT WAS’NT CHRIST!

I’ll give you another challenge for your teacher whoever that is, yourself, parents or priest. Ask them where does Jesus say I have layed down for you Christianity as your religion. Give me proof from the Bible that is scripture. And after all you will see it was St. Paul. He created Christianity not Christ (pbuh) then followed Peter, Simon and James. Then you will see that it wasn’t easy to be a Christian until Constantine made it official some 300 years after Christ left, thus inventing Christmas and Easter which never existed prior.  One thing to mention is Paul never saw Jesus. He never heard or witnessed Christ speak, pray, walk, talk, laugh, a miracle nothing. Jesus said don’t sent my message to the Gentiles. Who are the Gentiles. One who is not of the Jewish faith or is of a non-Jewish nation. Source: http://www.answers.com/topic/gentile. Who was Jesus message sent for. The Children of Jerusalem. What and where was Paul from an absolute Gentile who created a faith called Chratianity and said no animal is dirty so everyone can now eat pork and not be circumsized like the Gentiles. And all the way to today this is practised and backed buy the Church. A disgrace in my opinion, that this was never corrected, but I come in peace.

MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE & JOHN ,,,, WHO ARE THEY

I want to ask something very important as to who were Matthew, Mark Luke and John. Please don’t say Disciples, because there was 12 not 16. These so called Disciples Matthew, Mark, Luke and John had no last name no address no what so ever credibility to who they were, and they wrote the New Testament.   I am sorry to tell you now because I dont want to beat your head over this over and over again.  No one can answer, as to who where Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  Thats the Mystery, but over a billion people in the world believe everything they wrote.

Also at the beginning of each Book, they all started off with According too.  Even though Christian scholars say they wrote seperately.  Does that Make Sense, am I writing this as According to Rassool and not give my last name. There is absolutely no authenticity to saying what you’re writing when you say “According Too”, your adding a third party. All through out history till now we give our last name. In the bible it self Jesus (pbuh) gives reference to someone with adding there father John (21:15) “Simon, Son of Jonas.” It’s nothing new. It is who we are. It’s our identity people knew who you were by stating your first and last name followed by your dad’s name and where you came from. E.g. Jesus of Nazareth (pbuh). Only in the last 60 – 70 years we have finger prints and DNA, which proves with science who we are. Come on Christians I beg you to wake up.

IS IT ONE GOD OR THREE, JEWS & MUSLIMS =1 CHRISTIANS =3

The Bible has many great books, as a Muslim we must believe in them, but you cant tell me there was’nt some editing in the Gospel.  This is the reason why a Prophet was sent with a book (Quran) that will stand the test of time.  The Quran itself challenges anyone in the World since it was revealed.  but listen to what people in the Church have done though out time. You can’t even agree on which version of the Bible to follow. He’s the Son or he is God. Look at the significance difference of that. Now get ready for this. Son, Father, Holy Ghost Trinity. I thought there was only 1 God as stated in the 10 Commandments, Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD” (Deuteronomy 6:4) Ask your pastor or priest about this one, but I want you to be prepared so write this passage down that Jesus (pbuh) said.

Matthew 22:36-38
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 Thi
s is the first and great commandment.

WHO CORRUPTED THE GOSPEL WHO CHANGED THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST

I am not here to convert anyone except to shed some light for something that has been accepted as lies for 2 thousand years, stand back for a sec and look into your history of what is scripture from the Bible. All these sculptures were storytelling and propaganda, a billboard if you will, in that time period.People then led to calling them Gods, like Zeus. When the message of Christ (pbuh) the anointed one, was starting to be preached across Europe, mainly in Greece and Rome first. They had to make bridges with them in order to expand the faith and then allowed the new Christians to create Jesus (pbuh) into clay and mud objects around the world with no consequence. Violating the 10 Commandments with full intention.  The sole one who started was Paul.  Contantine made it official in 313 during The Count of Nisea.

People lied about the revelations, changed their scriptures and abused and even murdered the prophets whom God sent to them.

And verily, among them is a party who distort the Book with their tongues (as they read), so that you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book, and they say: “This is from Allah,” but it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie against Allah while they know it. It is not (possible) for any human being to whom Allah has given the Book and Al-Hukma (the knowledge and understanding of the laws of religion, etc.) and Prophethood to say to the people: “Be my worshippers rather than Allah’s.” On the contrary (he would say): “Be you Rabbaniyun (learned men of religion who practice what they know and also preach others), because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it.”[Quran 3:78-79]

WHO HAS SEEN GOD?

If you believe in God don’t think that you need a picture or statue to believe in him. Because in Monotheism we do believe in what we can’t see. Prophet Moses (pbuh) asked God to see him in Exodus 33 18-23 “ And (God) said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee…and he said, Thou canst not see my face; for man shall not see me and live…and thou shalt see my back: but my face shall not be seen”).The version from the Quran still makes me laugh today “And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, ‘My Lord, show me (Yourself) that I may look at You.’ (God) said, ‘You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me.’ But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, ‘Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers.’” (Quran 7:143) I actually belive this version because Jesus said And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape” (John 5:37) “ No man has seen God at any time” John 1:18.This to me has to wonder why the Catholics can say that Jesus (pbuh) is God. The people SAW Jesus, they did NOT see God. The people heard Jesus, they did not hear God. How can Jesus be God?

THROW ALL BIBLES AND QURANS IN THE OCEAN

The true testament to this, is to take the Challenge of Sheikh Khalid Yasin who saids. Take all the Bibles, all the Torahs anD all the Qurans. Throw them all in the Ocean. Get rid of them all. In a few days, in a week, the Quran will come right back up because there are literally hundred of thousands of Muslims who have memorized the Quran in its entirity of existence. From front to back Muslims know the quran.  Everyone will agree of the outcome, because all Muslims agree to the one book Quran. This is very true. This is the challenge of challenges when you think about it because the Church doesnt fully agree and the Jews dont fully agree with everytihng that is in the scriptures. All Muslims agree with the Quran. I know many Chrstians and I am married to one.

AVG. CHRISTIAN VS AVG. MUSLIM

My observation of the many Christians, they only know the Lords prayer. A good 90% of Christians I think know the Lords prayer. I would have to say 90% of all Muslims including non practising ones knows 10x more than equal size of the Lords Prayer then what is the Quran. Because A Muslim can’t pray with the Quran open. When you see a Muslim Praying he not just reading whatever he wants by standing-up, saying what he will’s and wishes. He must read something similiar tothe Lords Prayer from the Quran twice and two different verses of the Quran for each prayer by Memory. Also you can’t read the same one twice. Every Muslim reads the prayer in Arabic, the language it was revealed in.  Therefore when you translate for eg, Greek or Latin even English, you lose the authenticity of the meaning of important passages.  The flow of the Quran is so rythmatic that its easy to memorize a single verse. If you ever seen a Muslim pray they prostrate together and pray in one brotherhood. Christians when you pray your Pastor or Priest tells you to “now turn to John 1 -3 “.  We do it by memory.  All from the age of 3 – 99 all around the world all in agreeance to one book revealed from  God (Allah) to Angel Gabriel to a man in the dessert, Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h)who was illeterate 1400 hundred years ago. That means when he heard it, he could’nt write it down, thus he had to memorise it. This is why we do this so if someone was to question us on the spot, bang!!! here’s the answer, intead of saying sorry I dont have my book with me. Now that was bang not boom with all the sterotyes and all. Just for effect ok. So

TRINITY WHAT TRINITY, WHERE’S THE PROOF

The word Trinity does not exist anywhere in the Bible. Furthermore the word Bible does not appear anywhere in the Bible except on the cover, very interesting hmmm. My argument is if the word Trinity, does not exist is in the bible, and Jesus (pbuh) never said it. Then the whole concept of the Son, Father, and Holy Ghost is a hoax. The whole concept of the Christian Faith is founded on the Trinity. Also there is no where Jesus performed Mass. As I said earlier he was a Jew. Without that you’re just a Jew or Muslim another fellow monotheistic. There has never in my research in my life where anyone has been able to explain this argument of mine, because it is hard to prove something that doesn’t exist that’s scriptural. If you don’t believe in the Trinity are you still able to be a Christian? I don’t know. But the Bible itself doesn’t state the word Trinity which is the back bone of the faith as well Christians host Mass everyday, the Man, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the Chosen one, the Prophet never did a single Mass or said celebrate his birth (Christmas) or death (Easter). It does seem someone has made some man made beliefs and made it official. I leave it to you but you should read the Standard revised Red letterd Bible that was backed up by 32 scholars, and by their 50 co-operating denominations…. of whom believe the KJV was corrupted.

Good Luck !!!

Dont believe me, please do your own research, just proove me wrong with proof, is all I ask.

“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you” John (20:21)

The Scarcity Principle vs the Abundance Principle

Posted: Oct 07, 2009 |Comments: 0 | Views: 443 |

By: Rita Desnoyers

The scarcity principle and the abundance principle operate side by side in our world and it’s up to us to choose which principle to live by.  In a society that prides itself on free enterprise and individual opportunity, it is unfortunate that so many lives are governed by the scarcity principle. Our culture adheres firmly to the belief that resources are limited and there is not enough to go around; so according to the scarcity principle, we live under constant competitive pressure, fighting for spots on sports teams, professional positions, social status and even the last ‘must have’ XBOX360 or PS3 available at our local electronics store.

It is this scarcity principle that drives the economy and perpetuates the fundamental cycle of supply and demand. Low supply coupled with a high demand creates a scarcity that escalates prices and makes certain items a commodity that some can afford while others cannot. In fact, many businesses will purchase huge quantities of particular products in order to create a false scarcity, and this seemingly limited supply will result in an increase of the perceived value as well as people’s insatiable desire to acquire the item. Marketing companies can successfully capitalize on this principle because they know that it surpasses the financial realm and actually controls almost every aspect of our lives. By appealing to the fear of an imminent shortage, they can create a reaction that benefits a few at the detriment of many.

Unfortunately, the scarcity principle is rooted in fear and greed that encourages selfishness and, at its most extreme, a complete disregard for the needs and wants of others. Basically, the idea dictates that if something is scarce, or may become so in the future, then we need to get it while it is available and hoard it or store it for our own use, even if saving for our rainy day forces our neighbor into a drought. The scarcity principle discourages us from sharing ideas, opportunities, and resources out of a fear that someone else’s success will translate into our loss. It is the principle that makes us afraid that someone else will have more, succeed more, or achieve more, consequently lowering our worth and value.

While the scarcity principle has been convincingly argued, obvious from the fact that so many people live according to its tenets, there are those that hold to the belief that what may sound good in theory does not actually work in practice. In fact, the scarcity principle is essentially counterproductive. Accumulating and hoarding creates even more scarcity, widening the gap between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’, limiting attainability to a very small group, and eventually making the commodity undesirable or invaluable.

In contrast, the abundance principle is built on the idea that there is more than enough to go around and the world is always creating new opportunities and fresh challenges. This principle states that there is room for everyone to benefit equally and operates on the premise that “the more you give, the more you receive.” By being generous, we will actually discover generosity; by helping others we will receive help in our time of need; and by giving out of our abundance we will never experience lack.

While acting out of fear of scarcity causes us to turn inward and focus on ourselves, the abundance principle encourages us to take only what we need and to share the rest, benefiting not only ourselves but everyone around us. By living “all for one and one for all”, everyone prospers, everyone is happy, and everyone has a purpose. If there are limited positions on a baseball team, create a new team. If the local business isn’t hiring, start your own. There is room for everyone, opportunities are limitless, and creativity abounds.

Where the scarcity principle is based on fear and greed, the abundance principle is built on faith and equality. Where the scarcity principle demands hoarding, the abundance principle promotes sharing. Where the scarcity principle regards only commodities, the abundance principle values people. From the individual level to the family environment to society as a whole, living according to the abundance principle will result in financial freedom, personal health, and successful, happy relationships.
