NOMADS

There is a pattern of transient behaviour apparent in Pentecostal churches in this country, the which has to be called into question surely. Supposed Pastors migrating between churches from time to time, town to town, city to city, State to State. Men who supposedly state “God has called them to a certain town,” city, etc., men who Pastor churches, then for whatever reasons, pull up their roots and move on to somewhere else.

Men who go about manipulating the love and trust of the sheep, (2 Pet. 2/3), who glean loyalty and devotion from folk, men who harvest the unqualified support AND TRUST of the people, men who oversee the birth of new souls into the Kingdom,……..then make a decision to abdicate, walk away, migrate,………. flee,…….. to somewhere else.

It is incredulous to me how a man who has fathered children, nurtured, fed, tendered, clothed, and looked after for 1, 2, 3, or maybe even 7 years, can,… at a given whim, pull up roots, move on, abandon, forsake,…desert,… the ones he has given birth to. How much more incredulous is it to witness the same desertion of successive flocks by men who present themselves as being “shepherds” of the flock?????? Gal. 4/19.

I have seen this first hand,….been in a congregation where it has happened”: As a matter of fact, I came to realize that this “walkabout”, Nomadic, Gypsy behaviour happens so frequently in the church, that the sheep have come to accept it as “the norm” and have deadened their senses to such because of the frequency with which it occurs.

I was a part of the congregation of “Southside Christian Renewal Centre” Golda Avenue Salisbury in Brisbane when Chris Peterson stood up one Sunday morning behind the pulpit and announced his resignation from that church,……….leaving half the congregation behind in tears; a congregation which he fathered in the spirit!!!

SINCE WHEN IS IT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR FOR A FATHER OF CHILDREN (1 COR. 4/15-16, GAL. 4/19) TO JUST GET UP AND WALK OUT, LEAVE, ABANDON, FORSAKE, DESERT THEM JUST BECAUSE THE GOING GETS A BIT TOUGH, HE FEELS LIKE HE IS GOING NOWHERE, STAGNATING, TOO MANY PROBLEMS, PRAYERS DON`T SEEM TO BE GETTING ANSWERS, FEELS HE IS GETTING STALE, HE IS STARTING TO GET FED UP, CHURCH IS NOT GROWING, NUMBERS ARE DROPPING OFF, CHURCH IS NO LONGER EXCITING ANYMORE, HE WANTS A PROMOTION, WANTS A CHANGE OF SCENERY,…and this is my favourite,…..

HE`S BURNT OUT????? (no such thing by the way, if you are feeling tired and,….burnt out,.. then that is because you have been warring, building in the flesh and not the Spirit: (Math. 11/28-30).

AND OF COURSE,…..WE HAVE TO MENTION THIS ONE,……. “THERE IS NOT ENOUGH MONEY IN THE OFFERINGS TO SUPPORT THE PASTOR AND HIS FAMILY”:………HUH,…..SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE HIRELING:

OF COURSE, I HOPE YOU ALL REALISE THAT IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING, THAT THE ABOVE MIGRATORY BEHAVIOUR OF THESE “FOULS` OF THE AIR,” LEAVES BEHIND FLOCKS IN TATTERS FEELING ABANDONED, BETRAYED, BRUISED, WOUNDED, DAMAGED WITH SMASHED TRUST,……..SCATTERED,………NO LONGER IN CHURCH;

I`VE SEEN IT HAPPEN GENTS,……..TAKE HEED,………THE DAMAGE DONE BY THIS TRANSIENT BEHAVIOUR IS HORENDOUS: I HAVE SEEN CHURCHES GO FROM 50, 80, 300 IN ATTENDANCE, DIMINISHED DOWN TO ABOUT 6 IN NUMBER BECAUSE OF IT, THE REST NO LONGER IN CHURCH, THEIR TRUST SMASHED, DISALLUSIONED, BEWILDERED, WOUNDED, CONFUSED,………….SCATTERED:……………………………….

IF YOU ARE NOT A SHEPHERD OF THE FLOCK,……………………………..

IF YOU ARE CALLED TO BE A PASTOR,…BUT NOT YET UNCTIONED,…

WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?????????????????

(At this point, I shall make mention, that not all congregations accept on fire leadership and expel them, not wanting to get too close, sell out for Christ.)

THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD:

“BUT HE THAT IS AN HIRELING, AND NOT THE SHEPHERD, WHOSE OWN THE SHEEP ARE NOT, SEETH THE WOLF COMING, AND LEAVETH THE SHEEP, AND FLEETH: AND THE WOLF CATCHETH THEM, AND SCATTERETH THE SHEEP. THE HIRELING FLEETH, BECAUSE HE IS AND HIRELING, AND CARETH NOT FOR THE SHEEP.” JOHN 10/12-13.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD WHO ABSOLUTELY DETESTS THE PRACTICE OF CHARGING MONEY FOR ADMISSION TO SEMINARS, OUTREACHES, CHURCHES, CONVENTIONS, DINNERS ETC.? MATH. 10/8.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD WHO DOESN`T SELL THE WORD OF THE LORD FOR MONEY, ENGAGE IN BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ABHORS THE PRACTICE OF PEDDLING, HAWKING BOOKS, TAPES, VIDEOS, CDs FOR MONEY? JOHN 2/16, MATH. 21/12-13, MK. 11/15, LUKE 19/45-46, 2 TIM. 2/4.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD WHO CAN MINISTER WITHOUT HAVING TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED, RECOGNISED, RECOMMENDED, BACK-SLAPPED BY THE MUTUAL ADMIRATION SOCIETY THAT ARE THE VAIN REPETITIOUS, RITUALISTIC, IDOLATROUS, COMPROMISING, PHARISEETICAL CONTROLLED, LUKEWARM, DOUBLE-MINDED RELIGIOUS PENTECOSTAL ABOMINATIONS? IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD WHO DOES NOT SEEK THE HONOUR OF MEN, “BUT THE HONOUR THAT COMETH FROM GOD ONLY”? JOHN 5/44.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD WHO TAKES “EVERYTHING TO LOVING FATHER SON AND HOLY GHOST IN PRAYER ALWAYS”? 1 THES. 5/17.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD IN THIS COUNTRY WHO “DELIGHTS TO DO HIS WILL” IN ALL THINGS, WHO REALLY DOES UNDERSTAND THE BLESSING OF TOTAL OBEDIENCE TO LOVING FATHER SON AND HOLY GHOST, WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY, AND “ABIDES IN HIS LOVE CONTINUALLY”? JOHN 15/4-10, PS. 40/8.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD WHO ABSOLUTELY “LOVES THE LORD WITH ALL HIS HEART, MIND, SOUL AND STRENGTH, AND HIS NEIGHBOUR AS HIMSELF”? MATH. 22/37-40, MK. 12/29-31.

IS THERE A TRUE MAN OF GOD ANYWHERE AT ALL IN THE PENTECOSTAL, RELIGIOUS ABOMINATIONS IN THIS COUNTRY?…..ONE WHO WOULD GIVE HIS ALL, HIS LIFE FOR CHRIST AND THE BODY?????????……….. ONE WHO TRULY IS IN FOR THE LONG HAUL??????? MATH. 24/13, 1 COR. 4/9-13, 2 COR. 1/9-10, 6/1-10, IF ONLY EH?

But then I suppose,… one can expect nothing else from proselytes moulded by the institutionalized Pentecostal religious abominations in this country: Math. 23/13,15.
