JFK Religion Speech

JFK defends Church-State separation, religious freedom, and his electability regardless of his religious tradition “An act against one church is treated as act against all!” “Not what kind of church I believe in, for that should be important only to me, but what kind of America I believe in!”

  • The best president of America John F Kennedy

  • HOLY COW!! this is awesome!!!

scarey that we’ve gone backwards as far as we have in 40+ years

  • The danger of merging church and state is that the state could defend all legislation as being written by “god”. They would have complete control and there would be no way to dissent.

The vatican got rid of him real fast didn’t they..

  • Did he say “the humiliating treatment of our president and vice president by those who no longer respect our power”?

  • Shame this speech seems incapable of moving people in America today. Indeed people all over the world. As he says, when nations meet the only question should be what kind of world we believe in.
