@arrdvarks1 I define ‘broke’ as unsustainable government debt and the devaluation of the currency against Gold and Silver, while maintaining interest rates that don’t counter inflation; A world reserve currency should be stable and keep its value, since the dollar constantly devalues, I imagine governments have already started buying gold with their dollars, to maintain the value of their stockpiles.

@sumbuck188 The tea party is going to be absorbed by the GOP. It is a great way to get elected though in certain angry districts. The military and military bases employ millions of people and the dollars they spend increase those local economies. I do not see them being able to close them.

The great Federal Reserve and treasury own the printing press that prints the money. They even tax advantage owning real estate and not savings account for this very reason. The $ becomes worth less as they print more. As for helping Lybia, we haven’t yet.

Let Europe and China take care of this. China and Europe has the greatest interest in this regional conflict. China runs power grid in Libya and has/had 10’s of thousands of engineers there. I wish the situation in Libya could have been resolved without violence but with all due respect to those in Libya I DO WANT MY COUNTRY, coming to the rescue. Let one of the very well equipped European nations (except UK, you guys are ok) take the fucking point for a change on a “no fly zone”. Keep my brothers out of it. We’re already doing the right thing in Afghanistan and desperately trying to fix the mess we’ve made in Iraq.
