Question by littltre09: What places don’t give their people freedom of religion?
I’m writing a paper about lack of freedom of religion. If you know of any punishment that comes with practicing a religion that is outlawed it would be much appreciated!

Saudi Arabia, the only remaining true theocracy. According to their latest census, they are 100% Muslim. It’s not legal to practice any religion other than Islam, but I’m not sure of the punishments.

Theocracies, like those in the Middle East, and the one that the Fundamentalists Christians are trying to create in the United States.
See many of the killings going on in the Middle East, or the Inquisitions in the middle ages, or the witch trials in early US history.
Pretty much any theocracy will kill anyone not of their religion. Some communist countries do too, if the religion happens to be something that could oppose the goverment’s view, but many communist rulers don’t bother as long as your religion is kept in private and doesn’t conflict with the state.

Saudi Arabia, workers from USA have to live in a compound because the Saudis don’t want to have to beat you in public when you fail to bow down to Mecca and pray 6 times a day…

USA . the only way you can create a religion is if and only IF it fallows the Roman depiction of the Bible . and that is wrong . and that is why Christianity was the first religion made a legal worship 700 yrs after they killed the Jesus . and in doing so made all other religions illegal . the only way you could worship in Your custom way was to pay the RCC to give you permission .
and it is the same thing to day . notice all religions in USA are the same just diffrent names . they all teach the same lies . one god , mass incest , chosen religion . its all BS .

There are different dimensions to this. F.ex. in most Muslim countries (except maybe Saudi Arabia, I am not sure), it is perfectly legal to be Christian or Jewish, but in most of them it is a serious crime to convert from Islam to either of these (or to anything else). Then in some countries (in fact, quite many) you can be of any religion you like, but you cannot hold certain government positions unless you’re of the dominant religion. F.ex., the king of England has be Anglican.
