Infantrymen are soldiers who are specifically trained for the role of fighting on foot to engage the enemy face to face and have historically borne the brunt of the casualties of combat in wars. @AdamAus85 Actually they are deployed globally they have done peace keeping missions in the middle east and africa as part of the UN. Also during the 90s they fought agansit the tamil tigers in sri lanka actually they did gain majority of the country back but alot of civilian casualities were made so they had to withdraw due to the sri lankan government. I would personally like to see the Indian and Australian troops do joint military exercises since they both have shared military history 🙂

India is the next global superpower in my opinion. I think China will fail compared to India. As an American service member I certainly would NOT like to go up against India. We should improve our relations with India and stop allying with backstabbing Pakistan.

But sad to see that the Infantry is still the most neglected arm in the Armed Forces, Air Force is getting Eurofighters or Rafales, 5th gen. aircrafts and navy is getting carriers, nuclear subs, stealth ships…. but our soldiers are still wearing steal helmts, many soldiers dont have body armors, gun sights……..
