The national guard is a branch of the Military, he did not say “national security force” he said “civilian national security force” the same thing Hitler imposed in the SS, I’m not saying Obama is the same as Hitler, but you can look at past events and see similarities

Well, for starters, I would not have spent 60T on social programs to begin with. Second, I would absolutely let them fail. They would have sold the remaining assets to other successful and profitable lenders, making way for new growth. History has shown that the US will recover even after a 25% unemployment rate. It’s now at 10% and climbing, and it’s only cost half of our GDP to prove that trying to save these fiscally irresponsible agencies (and govt) does not work. Let the system work.

No, but Obama is the one who specifically said he wanted this “force” tricked out and funded just like the military. I think Americorps and this Civilian security force are going to be two entirely separate entitties or it just hasn’t been ramped up to its new intended purpose yet. Could be wrong – just going by the speech that I heard with my own ears on a news broadcast at the time as well.

Yes. Fannie and Freddie too. Bad business decisions are supposed to work that way. If you make bad investments in your private business does the government bail you out? No. TONS of American citizen’s wealth was lost and NO ONE DID A THING for them who actually were innocent of wrongdoing. The American taxpayer owes these institutions and the stooges that run them nothing. Sorry.

We actually already have 20% AFTER shelling this money out when you count the underemployed (those taking low paying jobs when they can’t get one in their field or part-time workers). Count them in the equation and we are at least that. This did nothing but primarily help Obama’s biggest campaign contributer Goldman Sachs. In addition, these banks deserved to be held accountable for what they did. That would have been justice.
