I think Jesse’s lawyers messed up and took his $30,000 (where did he find these guys?).
He is misinformed by them and there’s no need for so much drama to renounce everything.
He could still try to pursue the issue in circuit court. He could set up the circumstances again and file another case in circuit court. His lawyers should’ve known that this would be the result in district court as others have tried it before. He’s right about missing out on a jury trial. Winning doubtful any court

The US treated the Germans and Japanese better after WW2 than they did the Indians in this country. The Germans eventually got their country back as a whole. The US rebuilt Japan so that it one day could pass us buy in every aspect of business. Even after the Civil War the south weren’t punished for treason. They were sent back to their homes. The US kept it’s treaties with foreign countries, but never to the American Indian. They made a free proud people into prisoners in their own land.
