Isn’t it “No Treason VI”? I thought that Spooner only published I, II, and VI.

@RationalDischarge There is order in anarchy; Coming together and making decisions voluntarily, when the need arises. Imho.

Interesting point,
however, once an oath is sworn to uphold said document then it must be upheld. If it is not, then we should assume it will not be. The grey subterfuge is where the problem lies. Lets have a discussion on what the people want… a Police State run Slave society, or a free humanity.

I have a love/hate relationship with Lysander Spooner. I love him because his writings are so incredibly thought-provoking, morally consistent, and logically irreproachable. But I hate him because he made the idea of “limited government” look absolutely ridiculous to me, and popped my wishful thinking minarchy bubble forever! Now I’m always depressed and miserable, wondering what can be done to peacefully establish a voluntary society, or at least severely undermine today’s non-voluntary one.

I wonder what would happen if I filed a certified, notarized copy of the Declaration of Independence bearing my own signature on it with the secretary of state.
anyone?

Above: Change “wether” for “whether”
Furthermore, I ask people if they can come up with any good reason why the Law Society would write these “laws” in a foreign language? Contray to popular belief, statutes are not written in English, they are written in Legalese and to gain an understanding of any language you will need a dictionary with which to find the definitions of the words they use, therefore, you will need a Law Dictionary.
Why write statutes so that we can’t understand them??

I use this video to point out to my friends exactly what a contract is and if they continue to believe a contract made upon them, without their consent to it, is binding in any manner, is a fool to their own ignorance of the Law. Maxim- “Ignorance of the Law is no excuse.”
The most grievous deception perpertrated on the people, wether US or Common Wealth, is formulating in the minds of men that statutory law is the Law, it isn’t. It’s a benefit of a privilege and can reject if you so wish.

wrong. natural law is the highest. the point of the constitution was to protect our natural rights. but this experiment has failed. thus, the recommendations, nay, our duty, as laid out in the declaration of independence ought be our guide.

You can’t sign a contract for your unborn child stating that they will pay $20 a month for the rest of their life in exchange for a monthly bushel of apples. The person taking part in a contract is the one to consent to a contract. Once the child is older (s)he would be able to freely break the apple contract.
If you agree with this then I don’t see how you could disagree with Lysander.

“The LAW doesn’t end because the founders have died”
The LAW was never legit.
“anymore than the laws against murder, theft, rape and arson are void.”
Unlike the Constitution, these things are constants of history.
“You still will go to prison!”
For what? Posting a video? Your the NWO scum here.

I cant believe the kind of bullshit you corrupt bastards come up with to get out of hanging for TREASON!!
The Constitution of the United States IS THE HIGHEST LAW OF OUR LAND!!
The LAW doesn’t end because the founders have died anymore than the laws against murder, theft, rape and arson are void. You still will go to prison!
(Except if you’re a Blackwater mercenary but your day will come)

When I say “perspective” I don’t mean “opinion”. A perspective has to do with the underlining assumptions one makes when they approach an argument. This is not to say the those perspectives could not be predicated on false assumptions. To say that “The people” are “the government” is a perspective predicated on false assumptions, but it is a perspective nonetheless.
