One of the most pernicious features of modern life are the lawsuits that plague regular citizens in the developed world.  They are particularly vicious because it seems that every year there are more and more possible laws that can be broken.  In the US alone, 1 in 100 citizens is behind bars, often for minor offenses, divorce disputes, or debt related issues.

If you get entangled in one of these lawsuits, you will experience the cold impracticality of the legal system.  Judgments that are unaffordable or unfair can be handed down with no chance of appeal.  Try and argue your case against the system and you’re likely to be hit with a contempt of court charge.
