Migratemate Offers a Convenient Marriage: a Partnership for Citizenship

Migratemate Offers a Convenient Marriage: a Partnership for Citizenship

(PRWEB) November 30, 2003

During its month’s trial period, Migratemate.com received over 14,000 visitors and over 1,000 members, simply from word of mouth. The members come from over 50 countries, and the most sought after citizenships are for America, Australia, Canada, EU and the United Kingdom.

Migratemate.com founder James Franklin said: “This shows the huge demand there is for people seeking citizenship of another country to meet with privacy, safely and without abuse.”

James Franklin continued: “They are already advertising all over the world, often in unsuitable places, leaving themselves vulnerable to fraudsters, gangsters and traffickers. We are not encouraging anyone to break any immigration law, only enabling these people to have a place to meet free from danger and abuse.”

The site was created from a sense of injustice, “that a basic human right, the freedom of movement and settlement, is denied to so many people.” said James Franklin.

“And not merely denied due to their country, but their sexuality,” he says. “In many countries same-sex couples are denied immigration rights, and gay and lesbian binational couples are forced into a façade to save their relationship.”

However, Migratemate.com is based on reasons not only ethical but economic. James Franklin explained: “Capitalism is incompatible with nationalism. Free trade must be followed by free movement, not merely of goods and ideas, but also of people.

“If we open labour markets to foreigners we increase competition and so improve efficiency. Only companies who hire undocumented workers benefit from the subsidy of illegality by not paying minimum wage or providing insurance.

“Prohibition only creates a new set of criminals, as people wanting to be good citizens are forced to be illegal immigrants. These people are willing to risk everything, to cross the world for a new and better life. Such courage and creativity would benefit any country.”

Please note: Migratemate.com does not facilitate any meeting, but serves purely as an introduction agency and not an intermediary nor accessory for any illegal act that may occur, nor does it condone any such act.

What is Dual Citizenship?

Dual citizenship refers to the legal right some individuals have to be citizens of more than one country.  There are advantages to dual citizenship.  It can save individuals money on taxes and other legal fees.  Plus, there is a certain amount of freedom that goes along with having citizenship in two or even more countries.

However, you may wonder if having dual citizenship is legal or not.  Whether or not this is legal depends on the laws of all countries you inhabit.  Worldwide, of course there’s no law as to how many countries you can live in.  However, if you live and make money in one country, you have to make sure that living elsewhere and making income is permissible with that first country.  There may be various rules and procedures you have to follow.

For example, what if you are born in one country but want to become a citizen in another one?  Some countries might demand that you disassociate yourself from other companies.  In other instances, becoming a citizen of another nation doesn’t necessarily disqualify your citizenship in another country.  Furthermore, some countries automatically disassociate you while others require written notice.

What’s important to remember is that according to authorities, you are a citizen of the country you are currently staying in.  Therefore, when you are in Canada you are not an American citizen according to the most individuals.  All that matters is that you follow the law of the country you are staying in.  This means taking all related obligations like taxes, military service, and certain travel restrictions.  In unusual cases, like if American doesn’t permit traveling to a Middle Eastern country, yet Canada does, your traveling plans would have to respect the wishes of each country, depending on which you are staying in at the time.

You’re not considered a man (or woman) who is multi-national according to the law.  This is what you can pride yourself of being, personally speaking, a man or woman who has assets in more than one country.  However, the country you live in will only expect honesty with regards as to your active citizenship.  When you are in America, you follow America’s rules.  (No policeman will have any compassion for you if you state you were not doing anything illegal by Canada’s standards!)

Basic Freedom and Good Citizenship at Heart of Candidate Endorsement List

Basic Freedom and Good Citizenship at Heart of Candidate Endorsement List

Lubbock, TX (PRWEB) February 3, 2006

After extensive research, this week the THSC Political Action Committee released its official candidate endorsement list for the upcoming March primaries. The PAC’s endorsement list has been compiled to inform Texas’ 100,000 strong home school

community and the general public of preferred candidates likely to support the freedom of the home schooling community, based on a comprehensive questionnaire sent to candidates from across the state.

“The slate of candidates that we’ve recommended was based on the candidates’ replies after consultations with home schooling leaders,” says Tim Lambert, Chairman of THSC PAC.

The endorsed candidates list will aid thousands of home schoolers who are volunteering in their own neighborhoods supporting candidates with phone calls, block walking, and other methods as part of THSC’s Good Citizenship Program. The program is designed to teach children the importance of citizen participation in the voting process.

“Our mandate is to strongly encourage home schoolers to actively and vigorously support candidates who have been supportive of home schooling with their time, energy, and resources,” says Lambert.

The endorsement list also includes candidates for open seats whom THSC PAC believes will be supportive of home school freedoms. The list is available online at http://thscpac.org.

For more information about the THSC PAC and their stance on the March primaries or to arrange an interview, contact Tim Lambert at 806-744-4441.

Texas Home School Coalition Association is one of the largest home school organizations in the United States. THSC Association helps new home schoolers in Texas and provides leadership training for local support groups and legal assistance for member home schoolers throughout the state as well. THSC PAC is the political action committee.

US Citizenship- Duties You Have As An American Citizen

US citizenship is one of the most coveted citizenships in the world. The United States provides an atmosphere in which the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness becomes possible. It is this endeavor that has created one of the biggest industrial nations in the world. Also they are guaranteed minimum standard of living via social security and healthcare. However these rights are not free, they come with responsibilities attached. It is one of the fundamental principles of civics that “rights and duties are two sides of the same coin”. The duties that need to be followed on obtaining US citizenship have been listed below.

Pay Taxes: Under the Internal Revenue Service code, all US citizens are required to pay taxes on all of their income including income which has been earned abroad. Taxes are the fundamental source of revenue of the country and are the fuel for systems like social security, healthcare etc. There are however some exceptions under which certain incomes whether generated internally or abroad are exempt from taxation. However it is a pre condition of the US citizenship to pay taxes as imposed by authorities from time to time.

Register with The Armed Forces: Every male US citizen is required to register with the Armed forces on completion of 18 years of age. They may be required to fight for the United States if need be. This has never been the case since the Vietnam war but the US still requires all males to register themselves for a possible summon at some future date.

Obey the Laws: All United States citizens are supposed to respect and obey the law which has been created by their own representatives. Thus they are expected to co-operate with all law enforcement agencies such as police, secret services and the judiciary system. This is the pillar on which the secure system provided by the United States rests.

Vote and Elect Responsible leaders: Passing the US citizenship application also entails the responsibility to vote and elect suitable representatives that may hold office and take decisions on your behalf.

Although the list of responsibilities may be much more than the ones mentioned above but these broadly give a fair idea of what it is like to be a US citizen. The costs are not too high to pay given the opportunity and freedom that a US citizenship provides. The fact that millions apply each year for a US citizenship should tell you volumes about how better the system really is compared to other countries.

As the Pope pointed out in his remarks, this is the first time he has received members of the institution since the promulgation of its “Lex propria”, which he signed in 2008 and thanks to which it can periodically celebrate a plenary “Congregatio” for “the promotion of the correct administration of justice in the Church. “The function of this tribunal is not, in fact limited to exercising supreme judicial authority”, Benedict XVI added, “but it also has an executive role in overseeing the correct administration of justice within the ecclesial body. … This activity must be co-ordinated and patient, aimed above all at supplying the faithful with a correct, prompt and efficient administration of justice, as I myself requested, regarding cases of nullification of marriage, in the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation ‘Sacramentum caritatis'”. The Holy Father went on then to explain how, in that Apostolic Exhortation, he had also “referred to the Instruction ‘Dignitas connubii’, which gives moderators and ministers of the tribunal, in the form of a handbook, the norms they need to ensure that causes for

For Freedom More Than a Tour – Inspiring Citizenship Projects Across the USA

Grove City, OH (PRWEB) May 28, 2006

For Freedom, a new children’s book being released in June 2006 by DreamCastle Publishing and a Book Adventure approved title, offers an inspiring glimpse of growing up in a military family through the eyes of a child. Michele Snyder, the daughter of a former Vietnam POW and the book’s author shares, “For Freedom was inspired by a family visit during the summer of 2005. Visiting a military family and staying on a Marine base offered a rare opportunity for a civilian to experience a small fraction of the military lifestyle. The visit brought about a true appreciation for the sacrifices military families, must make for their fellow Americans.”

In addition to the tour, projects have been coordinated to coincide with the visits across the USA. Letters for Our US Service Men & Women, a project collecting letters and patriotic coloring pictures from children & adults from across the US, as well as the handmade cards for the Books & Hope project, made for the children of the Gulf Coast are and important and impacting part of the tour. According to Michele Snyder, “Good citizenship is something everyone can contribute to America, despite age.”

**The release of the book will launch a national tour visiting schools, military bases and community events, in an effort to get this patriotic and relevant book into the hands of children & families, people young and old. Each of these visits will offer a book signing by Michele Snyder, with a portion of each book sold going to an educational, family or community fund, offering a great opportunity for fundraising. Financial contributions will also be made to military organizations supporting US military families and veterans.

Organizations and Businesses are encourages to participate in the “Books & Hope” project for the Children of the Gulf Coast. DreamCastle Publishing is requesting that individuals participate as well. “Books & Hope is a great way to give to the children of the community and will enable the For Freedom National Book Tour to bring something special to the families of the devastated region,” shares Michele Snyder

“For Freedom is an inspiring tribute to our military families. The children of our military should know that we, as a country, are grateful for their families’ sacrifices for our freedom and safety.” says Gena S. Miller a Library Media Specialist from Omaha, Nebraska.

Supporters for the tour are needed for the project’s success and DreamCastle Publishing would like to recognize Young Marines, Joe Riggio – Networking by Images and Major Wayne Morris for their kind support, along with many others for their guidance.

Michele Snyder has joined on with military web mag. as a monthly columnist for their online magazine. She will be discussing military family issues and lifestyles in the column, including a perceptive view on how families deal with deployment of a loved one and the life issues many military families have to deal with once they are overseas.
