Congress Takes the Oath to Support and Defend the Constitution

Speaker John Boehner and Members of the House of Representatives took the solemn oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States on the first day of the 112th Congress. Your responsibility is to hold Congress to their oath. Congress must defeat all unconstitutional bills, repeal unconstitutional laws, and block all unconstitutional Executive Orders and regulations. Urge your Senators and Congressmen to live their oath every day they serve the citizens of America. The swearing in ceremony is brought to you as a public service of The Conservative Caucus, America’s Constitutional Government Action Organization. Edited by Art Harman. Text of the Oath of Office: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” Visit our websites: www.ConservativeUSA.org http www.SaveMannedSpace.com http C-SPAN coverage of the House Chamber is in public domain and carries no restrictions on its use. @koch46 Whys that? I bet he would before anyone else except Ron Paul and Kucinich.

  • I don’t trust any of them to do the right thing and you should remember that both sides of the house have shown in the past that they are not to be trusted. There are plenty of Democrats and Republicans that were relected so I’m not expecting much change there. There are a whole bunch of folks that came on board that were elected that had better follow through on their promise though because the people are just about through with politicians who don’t listen.

  • I dont trust Boehnor to do the right thing
