The so called PATRIOT Act was written well in advance of the “need.” We have no idea what laws are already written for the “appropriate emergency.” Remember this Act had no hearings and no one who voted for it had read it! At about the 45:00 is a statement that will uphold my saying, “Anyone who voted for this Act should literally be tarred and feathered.” That needs to be brought back to send a message to Oath Breaking Congressmen.

I have not heard any speakers from the Mises / Austrian school of thought address the problem that the vast majority of gold is held by a few banks, mainly European and Chinese. The amount of gold in the USA is actually rather small.

@rolynstone48 My view of the founding fathers is they were tired of the absurdity of British rule I dont think they were angels but they stood up to the British empire that was unfair and pathetic. There’s too many accounts of the founders being good and bad to know the exact truth. The Constitution was written to prevent a tyrannical government and if we didnt have it I think we’d all be much worse off than we are today even though we are in a pretty bad situation today by our own ignorance
