Video Rating: 4 / 5

This video was originaly produced and edited by Braedon Wilkerson, a Ron Paul Revolutionary, in association with America Restored. This Video is a small portrayal of the current Revolution, sparked by Texas Congressman Ron Paul, taking place in our nation today. He is the leading voice of freedom, the Constitution and limited government in our nations capitol. He has been likened to Thomas Jefferson, is known widely as the taxpayers best friend, has served in Congress for twenty years, and was best friends with Ronald Reagan. He has never voted to raise taxes or for an unbalanced budget, has never voted to support any measure of power not granted to Congress in the Constitution and supports abolishing the Federal Reserve Sytem and a return to sound gold based currency and an honest monetary policy. Congressman Ron Paul’s campaign is all about freedom, prosperity, and peace. He does not want to control anyone and believes the only true purpose of government is to preserve the right of the people to excercise their freedoms as they themselves see fit -whether to their benefit or destruction. Help “Restore the Republic” support and vote Ron Paul for President 2012! visit RonPaul.com for more information on where Dr.Paul stands on key issues like: the Federal Reserve, Our Money, Taxes, National Defense, Border Security, Israel, Civil Liberties, Health Care, Abortion, Education, War on Drugs, Global Warming, and Earmark Reform. I can’t believe Roberts messed up Obama’s oath. To watch the whole video and then have the last one be messed up is kind of a letdown.

@ActiveAtlantic Obama did not screw up, Chief Justice Roberts left out “Faithfully” so when Obama came to that word he paused, so Chief Justice Roberts could correct himself. Because the Oath is one of the most important speeches in all his presidency. After he finishes his sentence, he becomes a senator to the President of the United States of America. He didn’t mess up, he wanted it to be successful and honorarily, like a real president.

I think Warren Burger had the best voice of any Chief Justice.

  • @bjr43 what do you expect? he took the oath on an airplane after Kennedy had been shot…

  • Last real president was John.F.Kennedy latest are just puppets

  • @ActiveAtlantic The new chief justice actually messed up, and Obama seemed to recognize it. But he tried to be diplomatic. It was a train-wreck of an inauguration, but this was both men’s first national and constitutionally important moment. So I bet they were very nervous.

  • @SuperTrekNerd Yeah I noticed that too. According to the history books, President Theodore Roosevelt is the only president that was never sworn in with a bible, but rather with an uplifted hand. Another interesting thing is Truman is the only president in this video to have kissed the bible after being sworn in. The tradition dates back to the 1st president, George Washington all the way up to President Franklin Pierce where it was just the placing the left hand on the bible instead.

  • @JDUB73EB Those presidents who almost spoke too soon, the thing is if you’ll notice, it varies from one inauguration to another how many of the words the chief justice says at a time before each pause. If you look at the ’05 swearing in for Bush’s 2nd term, Chief Justice Rehnquist could barely speak as he was talking through a trach tube and so his was the most broken up of any of them–only a few words at a time

  • @ActiveAtlantic I’m no Obama fan, but in fairness, it was Chief Justice Roberts who botched the oath, and then Obama was clearly at a loss for whether to repeat the words incorrectly ordered as Roberts said them or change the order to make it right but then appear to be correcting the chief justice

Thanks for posting. fab show, I just wtched it online at lastnightstvshows (.) com

  • @bjr43 yes, the johnson oath was taken on a dictation machine.

  • John Roberts’ botching of the oath of office is proof that arrogant federal judges do not read the Constitution. The text of the oath is in the Constitution, and there is absolutely no excuse for a federal judge not knowing the text of the oath.

  • Fucking Roberts can do a simple task.

  • @mapboy78 Compare and conclude. Roberts fucked up.

Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich together. Google that. Although one is a classic Conservative, and the other is a Liberal, they both truely love America as it was, and both are principled gentlemen. SPREAD THE WORD: TOGETHER THEY CAN WIN!

Register to vote as a Republican, or he CANNOT win the Republican nomination, because YOU will NOT be eligible to vote for him in the PRIMARY! You can still vote however you want in the final election.

  • @dyad2r1 that’s what I said?…

  • I hope and pray with all my heart and soul for Ron Paul to get elected in 2012.

But I also believe that if he does get elected he will probably be murdered just like JFK was. And I feel sorry for him because of that. But the really big money and the people behind the scenes who are the true rulers of our country can’t have him in office. He would be too dangerous to them and their plans.
