Question by Educated: Aren’t you tired of liberals giving Blacks special rights?
Like citizenship and freedom and the right to vote and to appear in public places?
Shouldn’t we follow members of the Tea Party who want to repeal these special rights?

Isn’t it time we stopped all these “special rights” liberals keep giving them over REAL Americans?

Pardon me, but I thought that Tax Paying Citizens should have the above rights. But these rights were denied to African Americans until 1970.

I would like to see evidence the libs have given blacks “special rights.” Back track to that starting point, work forward in your knowledge of history and then maybe your question will be somewhat worth answering.
I don’t personally see affirmative action as “special rights.” I see it as libs saying that blacks cannot achieve success on their own merit. I see it as saying blacks are “less than.”
I see it that way as a woman. I guess it is possible that affirmative action got me into college, but once there, my own intelligence and study skills had to get me through. I think that the focus on affirmative action denies the work that I did to achieve what I have achieved, and I resent it.
In this age of technology, affirmative action is nonsense. Simply require that all identifying information is left off the consideration process (including names identifying gender, race, etc). Simple.
